Introduction
This report is based on choosing a career path by analysing the opportunity in the
market. It is necessary to know about the present conditions of the market and taking right
decision (Azadi and et. al., 2021). In this report there is use of primary and secondary
research that helps to carry on the report effectively. There is analysis of key trends in the
market and regarding the profession. The skills and expertise required in this area are also
analysed. The chosen career option is marketing manager.
Methodology
It is necessary to collect the data from right sources. The use of primary data is done
to ask my relatives and friends about their experience in the same profession. I interviewed 5
of my relatives that supported me. I send them email and got reply there. At the same time, I
have used secondary research to know more about the industry (Spurk, Keller and Hirschi,
2019). Articles are being reviewed and journals are studied to no more about the profession.
Both the sources helped me to carry on the work effectively.
Analysis and Application
There are regular changes in the trend in market. By studying the trends in the market
it is easy to work effectively and get good career options. The business environment is
dynamic and it keeps on changing. The use of effective research makes the person prepare
themselves for the future. There is need of analysing the trend in the market and the current
trend are as follows:
Technological changes: There are regular technology changes seen in the marketing
sector. There is need of analysing the trends in the market so that best actions can be taken.
The new updates in a technology help to carry on the business in effective manner and attain
competitive advantage. The business organisation that have skilled employees are successful.
Globalisation: The removal of trade barriers and free trade around the world. The
global trade has enhanced the opportunity in the market. There is need of professional who is
able to market their brand in global market (Gahlawat, Phogat and Kundu, 2019. The use of
right tools and techniques help the company to carry on the business operations effectively.
Digital marketing: It is one of the major trend that is seen in the market. There is
need of taking the business online. The use of digital marketing has the with this organisation
to market their products across the border in attract the customers in effective manner. It is

Understanding the experience of customers: There is need of enhancing the
experience of customers. The marketing person must prepare themselves in such a manner
that they are able to enhance the experience of customers (Urbanaviciute, Udayar and
Rossier, 2019). There is need of interacting with the customers in such a manner that the
person is able to know about their requirements. The marketing person must have persuading
skills that will help to enhance the sales of the company.
To get a good job in marketing industry there is need of studying the trends. It is
analysing that have been knowledge and skills according to trends and being a flexible person
helps to get a good job. The use of proper research will help to no more and more about the
customers and the present trend in the market.

There is need of skills and knowledge in order to get a good job. An individual must
work on all the skills that are necessary to carry on the job. These skills can be developed at

increase sales in the firm. In order to coordinate with management, marketing manager must

work effectively in an organisation and carry on the group project there is need of team

It is another skill that a marketing manager must possess in order to do their duties
effectively (Argyropoulou and Kaliris, 2018). They had a variety of tasks and obligations at
work that they needed to complete.

Having proper of business management is necessary. It assists to manage the work of
management and manage team in proper manner.

It is analysed that marketing is a right career choice for me. I am good at
communication skills and that will help me to bill religions with the customers. It is seen that
TESCO is the multinational organisation and I want to start my career with the company so
that I will get good growth in future. I am also interested in digital marketing and that is
required in the job position. The necessary skills for the job or having ability to deal multiple
task at the same time and I can do the required. I also have a management degree in
marketing that will help me to qualify the interview in effective manner. Retail sector is a
good option for me to start my career. At the same time the job vacancy is a perfect choice
for me after analysing the skills required in the qualifications as I possess the same.

From the above report, it is concluded that having good career is necessary. The
