Career action plan is a dynamic document that reflect an individual's plan which help
them to pursue their career goal effectively. So one need to constantly update their experiences
or achievement in order to attain the desirable result. The significance of having a plan is that it
helps the particular individual to remain motivated and engage in order to come up with effective
decision making (Cabaroglu, 2014). For the better understanding the career plan is made on the
Travel and Tourism industry which is one of the fastest growing industries that provide various
services to the worldwide customers in order to flourish the business effectively. Being the
rapidly evolving business it offer immense opportunities to draw up the career in similar line.
This report cover topics like personal analyses on the basis of existing knowledge, skill as well
as experience. Along with that it include preparation of career action plan that is used to address
the career action for personal development. Further, CV is prepared for the specific job profile
are the part of this report.

Personal Analysis
Travel and Tourism industry simply focuses to offer the services to various individual
who are away from their home environment with the purpose to explore new place or conduct
business meetings (Schön, 2017). This is the large growing industry that cater the needs of both
national and international tourism due to which it has majorly contributed to enhance the
economy of United Kingdom. It basically include the services like transportation,
accommodations, entertainment, food and beverages for the convenience of customer.
Additionally, it connect the industries in order to offer the practical support to the traveller. As
per WTTC that is World Travel Tourism Council within UK at 2017 the travel and tourism
industry has grew up four times (Britain's visitor economy facts. 2019). This has positively
influenced the economy by increasing the GDP rate and enhanced the circulation of fund.
As the role of personal analyses is to identify the deep insights which are required to
generate the awareness for the various activities and help the person to develop effectively. So
due to the increase opportunity in Travel and Tourism sector has encompasses the huge career
opportunity in different areas that include looking after the booking arrangements, role of tour
operator, planning event and so on (Johns, 2017). Further, on the basis of different job profile I

actually get influenced by the role of travel agent. Therefore, the personal analyses for the

IT Experience: It is vital that the agent need to have proficient knowledge of the
electronic devices like computer. Along with that they must be comfortable working on such
devices as it add value while performing the task (Nicol and Dosser, 2016). Thus, adequate IT
experience sharpen the knowledge of an individual and help them to operate the system
systematically.
Geography: Along with this Travel Agent need to have adequate idea about the different
regions like their location, features, speciality of different area, culture, latest trend and so on.
Such knowledge and experience help to lead different traveller successfully.

Listening ability: As the travel agent look after the need of an individual so it is essential
