INTRODUCTION
Career research is an important step that assist a person to gain the opportunity after the
completion of qualification. Career research help a fresher to identify their interest level which in
turn aid in setting future path as well as goals. In addition to this, career research is vital in order
to gain an insight about the skills as well as knowledge for performing the future job in an
effective manner. The report covers personal analysis that include analysis of weaknesses and

knowledge necessary for an individual in order to perform the job in a proper manner. Moreover,

needed for gaining opportunity as per the interest. With the help of my mentors and through self-
investigation, it is analyse by me that my skills is suitable for performing activities of retailing
sector. Retail sector is one of the emerging sector and growing rapidly that allow a person to gain
higher growth and development as well. It is analyse that my interest area is working in retail
sector, where I can apply my knowledge and skills effectively that leads to increasing in
productivity of the future company. My competencies and skill help me to perform job role in an
effective and appropriate manner. By doing a career research I learnt that I have good
communication skill that will help to do interaction with people and make good connection as
well. In addition to this, I analyse that I have the ability to manage conflicts and resolve them in
an effective manner. In order tow working in a retail sector, it is important for me to have good
communication skill in order to convey other people and enhance productivity of the future
organisation. In addition to this, it is essential to solve issues in a smooth manner in order to

Personal analysis plays an important role in order to identify the strength and weaknesses of
an individual. It help in making improvements and grabbing the best opportunity in future as
well. In addition to this, it aid people to gain knowledge about various skills that is required in
order to perform activities associated with the future job. A person also get to know about where
they lack and how they can make improvements in order attain growth and development. I aspire

to work in a retail sector and want to achieve personal and professional development from the
working environment of future organization.
My strength: with the help of personal analysis, I get to know about my strength and
which area I required to improve. It has been analysed by me that I have good communication
skills that will help me to deal with people in the retail sector and develop a good relationship in
an effective manner. I have good knowledge about retail sector and have experience of two
months in the retail sector that will help me to gain opportunity in a well reputed organisation,
where I can apply my knowledge and skills in an effective manner. By the assistance of personal
analysis, it is determine by me that I have good patience level due to which I resolve the conflicts
in an effective manner. In addition to this, it is analyse that I have the potential to deal with
changes properly and work in changing environment, this skill will help me during my job to
cope with the changes and deal with the dynamic situations in an effective manner. I am good
managing things but require to focus on time management as it will help me to attain my desired
goals in a timely manner. moreover, it will also help me to meet with the targets of organisation
that help in personal development as well as professional development as well.
My weaknesses: It is analysed by me that my problem-solving skill is not good due to which I
can face many challenges in the coming future. So it is import mat for me to learnt about
problem solving skill which not only help me to resolve issues but also help me to gain higher
growth and development as well. One of my weakness is conflict management, which is required
for an individual in order to maintain a balance and performing activities in an effective manner.
At the time of conducting personal analysis, I am not confident whether I do it or not but with the
assistance of my mentors and friends, I did personal analysis which help me to know my strength
and weakness as well. Moreover, it is analyse by me that I have lack of knowledge about the
retail sector and it is important for me to gain insight so that I can get job within the retail sector.
