The career I hope to follow.
Generally, each person anticipates for a certain career in future. This means that human beings
hopes to be associated with a certain career that aids in accomplishing our goals. Have you ever
tried to dream about a certain career in your life? Well, the same question applies to me. I have
more than four options to follow as my career. I have four careers which are teaching, writing,
cinematography and politics. Out of these four careers I have to choose the one which is
suitable to me.
To me my choice of career I hope to follow is teaching. I have to choose teaching as my career
to follow due to some reasons. In the essay I have outlined the reasons for choosing the career.
Basically, I think teaching as a career works on my side since I am always accountable, caring
and trustworthy. These are some of the qualifications each teacher should have (Korhonen &
Törmä, 2016). On top of this, I am always a hardworking individual both in school and also in
other co-curricular activities. Since I was in primary level I aspired to be a teacher and I have
been dreaming one day I will be teaching in some of our schools. I have been performing well in
class and I am anticipating to join teacher training institution which will help me in achieving my
goals as a teacher.
As a teacher I should be aware on the teaching practices used when in school. This is a big issue
which I need to know in the career I hope to follow. The main concept I should know is what is
involved in teaching process (Norton, 2018). Well, this induces assumptions which I need to
have before becoming a teacher. In general, it will be easy for me to be a teacher and obtain a job
of teaching because the entire world will always need teachers for teaching students. There is a
lot of work for teachers and society needs teachers to train children to acquire their future goals.
In school teachers also do a lot of work starting from preparing lessons every day, preparing tests

and grading students. I am determined to do all these once I will be a teacher. I have been
connected with a number of people who have been impacting my career goal. Through my
school life, I have been interacting with teachers in school and they have been encouraging me to
work hard so that in future I can help society. My class teacher has been a role model and I have
been copying some teaching skills from him and hope this will help me in my teaching career
(Tomšik, 2016).
In conclusion, teaching is the most professional which I have been dreaming to follow in the
future (Byron & Thatcher, 2016). My teachers in school have been encouraging me to work hard
in academics and that's what I believe will make me prosper in my career as a teacher.
