The aim of this report is to identify the areas for improvement for individuals which will increase
the employment skills. The desired profession is to be an HR in the field of travel and tourism
which tend to be operating in the international market. Evaluation of the market condition is
being done in this report through the means of primary and secondary market research,
evaluation on the significant importance of the external market condition on the job profile is
also being analysed in the report.

location, so that it is able to understand the customer preferences of the location and due to
which company is able to achieve a high level of organizational sales.

Future trends of the HR profession in tour and travelling is that due to increasing geographic
reach of organizations the HR also has to improvise its working capability in such a way that it is
able to improvise organizational working capability as per the requirements in such a way that it
is able to achieve high level of work productivity in minimum expenditures. This can be seen in
the cases in this the HR profession has to make recruitments but has to ensure that the candidates
which are selected are able to analyse the organizational work requirements and are able to make
improvisations in the working process through which company is able to achieve a high level of

This is the important skill which I should have as I wanted to work in human resource
department in tourism industry. Communication skills will help me in recruiting and selecting
candidates. For the purpose of interview I have to communicate with the applicant and for this
good communication skills are must.
IT skills:
IT skill is the other important skill which i should have. If I have IT related skills then I
will not face any issues related to using computer. Small computer based problem can be easily
solved by myself only (Papathanassis, 2020). IT skill helps in building confidence and boosts
morale.
Organisation skill:
I must possess this skill because when will is organized nicely then goals of the company
can be achieved easily.
Presentation skills:
Another important skill is the presentation skill. As an HR I must have presentation skill.
It will be helpful in building my strong image in front of company as I am able to present topic
effectively.
Performance management skills:
It the duty of HR to manage and monitor the performance of employees. HR should
appreciate employee for good performance and if employee has delivered bad performance also
then also motivate them by guiding them (Donald, 2020). If I have this skill them it will be
helpful for me in future growth.
Speaking fluency:
It is vital in case of HR job role. As HR need to talk with candidates. It is also helpful in
building confidence. When I have command over language them I will speak fluently.
Leadership quality:
As an HR I should have leadership qualities as I have to lead human resource of the
tourism industry. Leaders play important role in motivating and inspiring the workforce. Leaders
should have sparkling personality and have such persona which spread positivity in the
organization.
