INTRODUCTION
Project management can be defined as that in which initiating, planning, monitoring and
controlling is being done so that project can be successfully finished on time and also the risk
related to project can be identified. Present report will lay emphasis on Carphone Warehouse
introducing on store and online a new network other than the existing ones. Report will highlight
the scope, schedule, requirement and human resources which will be involved in completion of
this project. Report is based on PRINCE 2 technique of project management. This technique is
used to divide the project in controllable and manageable stages.
MAIN BODY
Schedule: this is the first and foremost step in the project management plan wherein the
project or idea is being developed and defined by the people involved in the idea generation.
This is the stage wherein the idea of the new project is identified and the steps are taken in order
to develop the idea into a viable business project (Sousa and Carvalho, 2018). In the stage of
scheduling the idea generators schedule some meeting with the stakeholders and other people
who will share their views and ideas relating to the project. Thus, this schedule will set up
meeting with high profile people who will help in the development of the idea into a feasible
project. Thus, here the meetings will be carried on with different people like the sponsors of the
project, major stakeholder of the project, people who will be impacted with the continuation of
the project and many other related people to the project.
Scope: The scope of this project is very wide. With the introduction of new software,
company will be able to expand its business and attract more clients or customers as this
software will reduce the workload and help the organization in focusing on the more important
things and tasks. Coming up with the new and innovative idea will always a add value to the
business and it’s distinct benefits will reduce the time consumed earlier and helps in better time
management (Pheng, 2018). With its successful implementation, it will help in ensuring the
quality in services, which in turn increases the customer base. This software has several benefits
but the main advantage of it is risk management and quality control capability which is the key
area in any project and requires proper attention. In nutshell, this new ideas of software
development will help in market expansion and growth which will result in increase in overall
company's profitability and productivity.

Requirement: in the next stage that is the stage of requirement all the items and the
materials which are being required for the continuation of the project are outlined. In the initial
stage the major requirement is of setting up of goals for the completion of the project that is the
objectives of the project are set. Further there are many different objectives relating to the
business ideas, thus, there is a need to prioritize all these ideas (Eskerod and Jepsen, 2016). This
prioritization is done on basis of importance of the objective that is if in the near future if there is
need of satisfying that objective first then it is at the top of the list. Further those objectives
which are not of much importance currently are aimed at the end of the project when they are
important to be fulfilled. The major requirement for the current project of Carphone warehouse
introducing the online network is the thorough market research. This is important because of the
reason that for developing a new idea it is crucial to undertake a thorough research that whether
the idea will be successful or not and if yes then what will be the major requirement.
Deliverables: this is the stage of planning for the project and in this stage all the essential
points which are necessary are included in the project planning. The deliverable is the one which
at used to describe the quantifiable goods and services which will be provided against the
completion of the project for which planning is going on. Thus, the deliverable are the product
and services in which the current project is working on. Hence, it is very necessary for the
company to outline the deliverable in the planning phase only (Poston and Richardson, 2019).
This is majorly because of the reason that if the product and services to be delivered to the
consumers are outlined in advance then this will be helpful for the consumers in knowing in
advance that what products and services they will be getting.
Cost: This project is based on the Carhone Warehouse company, which is UK's mobile
retailer company. They are introducing new network other than their existing network. Project
manager of this company will get their project fund from their sponsors and other they will
invest in this project themselves (Kerzner., 2017). They will also implement the latest technology
in this project which will help Carhone Warehouse company to achieve their goals and objective.
They are having proper plan and budget for this project. According to the project manager of this
company, estimated cost of this project will be 135000.
This amount will require to the project manager to complete this project successfully, and
they can introduce new network to the world which will provide quality services in all over the

people, and they will wait for this project. 5000 will be the cost which will be required to the
project manager when this project will be live and this will introduce in the market. This is

manager, executives, project manager will be involved. Technical manager and executives are
responsible for IT installation and improving computer labs. Financial manager is responsible to
allocate funds and manage cost as well. Project manager is responsible to schedule, monitor the
task properly. Project manager must also be provided with key resources so that project can be
completed on time (Kerzner, 2017). They must make sure that during the completion of project
resources must be utilise effectively. This will help them in successful completion of project.
Also, while completing project the key human resource must be given proper training so that
productivity of project is being increased. Training will also increase efficiency of key
employees.
Time: The main responsibility of project manager is that they must be involved in
prioritising the task according to their importance which must be completed first. This will help
them in completing the project on time (Fleming and Koppelman, 2016). It will also enhance the
reliability and authenticity of project. Project manager must make sure that staff members who
are involved in project have clear goals and responsibilities, so that no chaos exist during the
time of completion of project. Buying of the goods and services and other project related activity
will take time, so project manager must engage in evaluating the progress of project.

changes over the projects. It is essential for the businesses to ensure that the technical risks
factors are identified at early stage so that these risks do not impact the project significantly. The
technical risks are also related to the change of machines, process of operations or
manufacturing. The technical risks can affect the business or project if not identified at early
stage.
Financial risks apply to every business enterprise operating like businesses, government
firms, financial markets as whole and also the individual. Risks can be related to the danger or of
possibility that the shareholders, financial stakeholders or investors will be losing the money
invested in company (Meredith, Mantel and Shafer, 2017). It is important for the business
enterprise to analyse the financial risks of an enterprise. Financial risks related to the cost of
finance raised by company. If company raises too much of debt and borrowed against the equity
finance it has higher risk. Financial risks can affect the business enterprise if they are not

able to adopt the change it may affect the business in implementation of change. Trustworthy and
efficient employees of company may lose if they are remunerated appropriately or their needs or
not satisfied.
Quality control: It involves activities which are used in evaluating whether a product or service
meets the quality standards. Implementing the new software will be very beneficial to the
organization. It will help in validating the deliverables, meeting up with the requirements of the
stakeholders, identifying the cause of poor quality of product and recommending corrective
actions to eliminate such issues. Effective utilization of this software will help in reducing
production cost, ensures maximum utilization of resources with minimum wastage and
identifying any kind of inefficiency (Tonchia, Tonchia and Mahagaonkar, 2018). It will ensure
quality product which is helpful in attracting customers thereby increasing sales. It will also
enhance the goodwill of the organization in the mind of consumers by producing quality
products and satisfying the customer's needs. If properly implemented it will also reduce the
inspection cost. So, quality control is very crucial in a project management as it ensured that
everything is in its place or within the scope of the project planning.

understanding the complete message. It is the central part of every business. To perform any task
it is important to communicate. With the implementation of new software, communication will
become more valid and reliable as the software will help in preparing the relevant reports as per
the requirement which can be communicated easily to the relevant team (Kamalirad and
Kermanshachi, 2018). This will the reduce the probability of misunderstanding or alteration of
message. Every team will be able to asses the system and which will help in proper and effective
communication. It will help in overcoming the communication barriers and to be specific. It is
also relevant in making stakeholders understand what is the organization's requirements,
objectives and the way it will achieve it. It will help in communicating and mitigating the project
