In the contemporary business world, digital marketing is rapidly taking center stage in the
marketing and advertising sector. Digital marketing is the process of marketing products or
services using digital channels to reach consumers, (Chaffey and Ellis-Chadwick, 2019).
Businesses are operating in a very competitive environment both locally and internationally and
have to be flexible and fast in adopting new technologies to create and maintain a competitive
advantage over their competitors. With the increasing diffusion of technology all over the world,
internet transactions are increasing rapidly. Digital marketing is done primarily on the internet
through search engine marketing and social media networking although it goes beyond the
internet to other media channels such as the MMS and the SMS. This paper is a critical analysis
of the Casanova Designs' landing website and how the improvements that can be incorporated to
make it more effective. Companies should strive to master the use of digital marketing through
continuous improvements and creativity in their digital marketing channel.
The Casanova Designs' landing website is probably serving its intended purpose, but
several improvements can make it more efficient. Social media marketing is part of the digital
marketing concepts, and this website does not utilize this tool to the fullest, (Dahl, 2018). There
are only two social media icons for Facebook and Instagram on the landing website.
Furthermore, these icons are not provided with the user name as well as a way to direct those
customers to these sites. Social media networking enables a company to reach a considerable
number of potential customers. The website should include other social media platforms such as
Twitter and Skype to increase the chances of reaching more potential customers. The customers
should be directed to social media sites to enable interaction with customers.
Secondly, on the home landing page and "about us" should include the mission and
vision of the company. The mission and vision statement gives customers a synopsis of the

impact the communities in which they operate in as a gesture of good will and responsible
cooperate social responsibility. To give a proof of customer satisfaction, the company website
should include a review section where clients can provide ratings and comments about the
products and services offered by Casanova Designs, (Macarthy, 2018). This will enable the
company to builds and maintain trust with its customers and potential new customers which is
good for making a strong brand.
