Interest in a Business employment role
I would be more interested in being a tourist’s guide for the visitors as it will help in enhancing
my overall satisfaction level regarding the job. I have a deep interest in guiding people regarding
various destinations that I have already visited. Moreover, I have a keen interest regarding
different languages and traveling to different places, and this business employment role will
provide me the desired opportunity to explore my knowledge in visiting different sites and
guiding people. It needs to be understood that to select the desired employment role,
identification of their passion and interest towards the concerned work is vital as it will help in
evaluating the desired success and satisfaction regarding the work processes.
Moreover, my strength is that I have done a course on tourism and destination management and
have a license from a tourism-based agency and it, therefore, helps me in enhancing my career
growth in the role of the tourist guide. Moreover, the identification of strengths and the
weaknesses of a person is regarded as to be vital as it helps in selecting the proper career role
which will help in achieving future career goals (Dhama et al., 2016). One of my weakness is
that other than tourist guide experience, I do not have any other relevant experience in another
field.

There are a few of the essential vital skills that are required to succeed in the role of a tourist
guide for destination management. Essential skills and capabilities are:
1. Stronger communicational skills: It helps in communicating effectively with visitors
and tourists to provide a positive and unique experience.
2. Strong memory: It helps in keeping the desired facts about the concerned places in
memory for a longer time (Pabel and Pearce, 2018). It is essential for the tour guides to
keep their stats and facts regarding the places to visit stronger.
3. Improvisation skills: The guide must have the improvisation skills to boost the
experience of the tourists in any situation (Topler et al., 2017). It helps in maintaining the
satisfaction level of the visitors.
4. Humor and punctuality: These are two of the vital things which help in keeping the
mind of the visitors fresh throughout the tour (Weiler and Black, 2015). Being punctual at
