New Technologies in Education System
In this scenario given as a case study, the technology integration with education
system in 21st century is the must. At the moment, technology is the part of almost aspect of
human life as for competing with others and being in this competitive era, people are required
to make an effective use of technology. Technology has taken up its place in all fields of life
like business, private life and education for last few decades.
The usage of technology in learning has been quite beneficial for students as well as
the teachers. The children showed immense interest towards technology like computers,
televisions and projectors. Researches showed that the learning by showing educational
videos, presentations and computer applications last longer in the minds of students. By
making an effective use of technology in education field, teachers can get better outcomes
than the conventional studies composed of only books and paper works (Dmitrieva, 2019).
Computers
Using the technology in classroom would let the students use their in-depth
knowledge abilities. Utilities like, gaming, applications, visuals put much impact on students
than the traditional style of teaching. This gives an edge of interest in students. They are more
interested in such technologies and love to be learning through it.
Electronic Reading
In the context of 21st century learning and educational practices, it can be said that
creativity, critical thinking and communication is vital or key elements. E-commerce reading
is considered as one of the important source from where, students can learn in modern way. It
can be said that there are different types of students as some students feel hesitated while
reading in front of other students. But with the help of E-reading or advanced technology they
can prove their worth and knowledge. There is no requirement for students to read in front of
others. By doing this, they can increase their creativity skills which is the main key of 21st
century educational practices. This e-reading allow them to learn the skills more easily as
these contain sounds, videos, and other multimedia resources. This also enable the students to
work in groups, more focused and retained of knowledge (Käsper, Uibu, & Mikk, 2018).
Educational Gamming
Educational gamming or teaching through games is an effective way of learning
through play. The main aim of using these tools or techniques is to attract the children
towards education and learning and teach them very good lessons like, rewards, wining,
challenges, and incentives. Such games are part of the technology usage which also helps
prolonged knowledge retention. Some example of these tools which are playing important
role in 21st century education includes; tongue twisters, making categories, putting dots for
drawing etc. All these are mainly helping in year 2 teaching in increasing interest of children
in learning. It is more helpful in group learning methods.
Communication and sharing of knowledge,
This is an age of social media and communication. The medium is heavily used by
people to be in touch and share knowledge with each other. As a point of view of teacher, the
usage of social media for educational purpose is very much in practice. The people joined
these platforms are sharing their experiences, tips, tricks and advanced methods of teaching
and learning. The success stories shared on social media are quite helpful to tackle similar
situations (HIGGINS, ECHTERHOFF, CRESPILLO, & KOPIETZ, 2007). It is increasing
their communication skills because all type and different level of students get equal chance of
sharing their knowledge on social media platform. They share their views without getting

hesitated and communication skill is one of the important key of the success of 21st century.
So, it can be said that these tools are helping students in increasing communication skill
which also support modern era of education.
Relevant Internal & External Partnership in Education
In education, the main stakeholders are, the parents (external), students and teachers
(internal). They are said to be the partners in the education system. They have key roles in
making up a child’s education and grooming. There are several elements come in internal and
external partnership in education such as primary welfare officers, multicultural education
aides, student well-being coordinators, staff, teachers and other. On the other hand, some
external partnership include: families, community service organization etc.
Community service organizations or external partnership
Interrelationship of both elements of partnership can make all participants beneficial.
In the context of external providers or community service organizations, it can be said that
these community services organizations in partnership can help students in their learning and
education by implementing some strategies such as: student leadership programs, cyber
safety and bullying prevention initiatives. So, it can be said that a strong collaboration with
community service organizations or external partnership can prevent students from any type
of accidents and all those things which can decrease their morale. Student who feel fresh and
valued they are more likely to focus on their learning an education which can give excellent
result to schools. It can increase brand image of schools and it can also make teachers feel
valued. Programs from external partnership require taking into account cultural influences
and latest research concepts.
Internal partnerships
It includes all those parties and people who are liable to give an effective education
and learning opportunities to students rather families and community organizations. There are
several specialists which helps schools in providing support to enhance students safety and
for that it provides additional support such as: secondary school nurses, health and well-being
professionals. So, it can be said that all these parties or internal partnership can be beneficial
for staff members, students and all involved parties in education (Prianto).
Families
In the context of education and learning, it can be said that parents or families are
considered first educators of children which give effective impacts on their learning during as
well as after schooling. Family members play an important and primary role in teaching their
children about respectful relationship (Devi, 2016).
Curriculum and Pedagogy in 21st Century
The 21st century, came up with new challenges, innovations, directions, standards and
expectations in all matters of life including the education. The future is going to be more
open and advanced. The young generation, which is in schools now, have to be able to

Therefore, the educational system has to be transforming with the needs of time.
We see multimedia, projectors, computers, tablets and even mobile apps are being
used to teach the young students. By this, the educational institutes are being able to get the
attraction of young generation towards schools and their education. This is not only for the
attraction, it is actually the need of time. In near future, we will see amazing innovations,
which are to be utilized these young fellows. They have to work in an atmosphere full of
automation. How would they survive if they are strangers to these technologies (Timor,
2014)? In addition, it can be said that this modern era of educational practices is changing
curriculum because the focus is being given on memorization of facts. Nowadays, college
students are not bound to come college on regular basis as they can learn all things which are
taught in the class with the help of social media platforms or lectures available on these
platforms. But in traditional time, students were bound to come college on regular basis.
They can learn from anywhere, they can connect internationally etc.
Old and New Pedagogies
Now days, the old, traditional way of teaching is gone. The changes in teaching and
education fields are in accordance with the need of time. The educational span is going
beyond the classrooms. We see the video resources through internet are being used to explain
the concepts, especially, during group work assignments. Similarly, in advanced classes, the
use of smart phones are also allowed for preparation and solution of group work.
The students, now days, are going through a social and digital participation. Social media,
digital resources are the main platforms for the purpose. Through this, any information can be
acquired through digital media at any time. The new methods being used now, are much
faster than the ones we saw 10-15 years back. Latest technologies have changed the way of
life, methods of communications, radius of thinking and the emotions (B Boholano, 2017).
Superficial & Deep Approach
Young children and students, usually, have short term memories. To cope with the
issue, new trends of education help a lot. In our traditional way of studying, where the
students learned the text by heart without knowing the meaning, purpose and objectives, is
called superficial approach. Which simply does not do well with the knowledge. They knew
the text but not the meaning. However, in modern way of education, called as deep approach,
gives all aspects of education to the student. Deep approach enable the student to transform
the knowledge. It also enable to self-regulate the learning, pro-activeness, relativistic
evaluations and knowledge rebuilding.
The way of study includes, inquiry and project based education which enables the
student to keep them awakening. Instead of questions and answers, the problems are
presented before the students and they are to solve (Frăsineanu, 2013).
Technology & Classroom
In modern world, the classrooms are equipped with the latest technology like
computers, internet, databases, projectors and more. The teachers, accordingly, having the
knowledge and ability to utilize these gadgets. The real life problems and solutions through
computer screens are putting more impact on the students. They are more activating their
brains in order to grab the knowledge. This technology based education, at the same time,
make the students individually able to work as well as with collaboration. It is not that the
students are in front of the computer screens whole the time. The technology is used where it
is applicable. The parents have concerns about this practices. The teachers give a pleasure to

the parents when they tell the parents how many hours their kids were away from the
computer screens (Jadallah, Kang, Hund, & Kirby, 2019).
