Though 7 eleven has op for acquisition with the Mobil and helps in the developing the
best rebranding strategies that also worked out very well in attracting more customer for the
future(Unsal 2019). However, employee are the company the greatest asset and major issue was
that employee suggestion had not been taken properly by the firm before making such major
decisions. Thus, there are various organizational policies and procedures that had to be followed
so that best employee relations are been maintained. Some of them that could be followed by the
firm are as follows:
Fair work act: this is act that is laid by the Australian government that ensures the safety
of all employee working within the firm and consist of certain rules that assures that different
level of employees are able to avoid the discrimination and have the right to work in flexible
environment (Wang and Seifert 2021) Furthermore, through this act 7 eleven would be able to
ensure that all employees are able to accept the change that is newly implemented within the firm
and would also able to provide the best possible solutions for working. However, it seems that
there was not proper implementation of such act as not good relation were set among the
employer and employees and there was unlawful discrimination in terms of wok that is been
assigned to the workers of seven eleven.

National employment standards: This is the law that states the regular working hours of
the employees in Australia and provides them the right to stand against any kind of unlawful act
done by the government (Curtin 2019). Furthermore, through this law the company would be
able to avoid the any type of conflicts that exist within employers and employees. Thus, this law
helps in ensuring the gender equality and working standards so that no employee feel
disrespected.
Modern award: This is also type of Australian government regulations that helps in
defining the terms and conditions of the employment that need to be followed by each employer
that want to ensure effective working across different regions. Furthermore, this documents helps
in providing various entitlements such as allowances, breaks, pay, overtime policy and much
more. Thus, if such type of documents are strictly followed than it would help the firm to acquire
the business in most effective manner.
State and federal anti discrimination laws:
Moreover, the issue within the organization had been developed to the major reason that
such organizational polices were not taken into consideration and strictly followed that caused
difficulties for the new and existing employees to understand the complex work procedures and
way of carrying out certain things within the new firm been formed through acquisitions
(Câmara and Petrenko 2021). Also, the major reason for which the firm had suffered lot was due
