1. ELECTRONIC BOOK: HARRY POTTER AND THE PHILOSOPHER’S STONE.
1.1 INTRODUCTION
Since the loss of his parents ten years ago, Harry Potter has been abused by his aunt
and uncle, Vernon and Petunia Dursley, and harassed by their son Dudley. After
Vernon and Petunia destroyed the previous ones, a half-giant named Rubeus Hagrid
presents a letter of admittance into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry on his
eleventh birthday. Harry discovers that his parents, wizards James and Lily Potter,
were murdered by Lord Voldemort, the most terrible and powerful dark wizard, and
that he was brought to the Dursleys as a baby. After failing to murder Harry, Voldemort
lost his powers, went into exile, and made Harry renowned within the secret magical
community.
1.2 EVALUATION & RECOMMENDATION
Authority: J. K. Rowling's fantasy novel Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone is
set in the United Kingdom. It follows Harry Potter, a young wizard who learns his
magical lineage on his eleventh birthday when he receives a letter of admittance to
Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, the first novel in the Harry Potter series
and Rowling's debut work.
Objectivity: At certain strange times throughout the novel, the narrator assumes
omniscience and tells the reader what Harry is thinking or feeling. The narrator mainly
recounts events as they occur, as well as revealing some, but not all, of Harry Potter's
thoughts and feelings. The reader is informed about the activities and opinions of the
other characters through the characters' own discussions.
Scope: This is a work of fiction. The narrative revolves on the magical realm and
wizards. Where a young boy named Harry Potter, armed with magical abilities and a
great deal of self-assurance, battles the wicked Voldemort, who murdered his parents
in order to save the world.
Audience: Initially, children and teenagers were the target audience. The series has
no specific target audience. The books have a wide readership regardless of age,
despite the fact that the principal protagonists are teenagers/young adults.
Recommendation: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, in my opinion, is a novel
that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. J.K Rowling, one of the best writers of the

century, created the Harry Potter series. This novel follows a little child who has
escaped the curse of Lord Voldemort, the most powerful dark wizard of the period,
whose name most witches and wizards are still frightened to mention.
1.3 CONCLUSION
In the conclusion, purchasing and downloading an eBook is a quick and straightforward
process. People living in large contemporary cities, rural villages in distant countries,
or on small islands can all read eBooks. If they have access to the Internet, they can
purchase and download an eBook in the same period of time.

2.1 INTRODUCTION
Orange Coast Magazine is the region's longest-running lifestyle publication, bringing

the Audit Bureau of Circulation. It is the ultimate handbook to the county's opulent
lifestyle.
2.2 EVALUATION & RECOMMENDATION
Illustrations: This magazine includes illustrations, such as photographs, that are
appropriate for the subject. The magazines also provide additional interest and
information. The material is colourful, which is appealing to a specific user who is
concerned about the colour scheme utilised to attract them.
Usage: They gave the user instructions on how to best use the magazines in these
magazines. They, like other publications, feature a variety of articles that entice
readers to read them. The user will be able to use the magazines more easily as a
result of this.
Cost: This online magazine is free, which means you don't have to pay anything to
view it; all you have to do is register using your email address. People occasionally
desire to read materials that are free of charge. As a result, they are able to read with
ease.
Audience: The target audience of this magazine is women and men between the ages
of 18 and 32 because of the article topics and advertisements.
Recommendation: Yes, I would suggest this online publication to others. Content is
easily accessible. The most fundamental reason for our preference for digital
periodicals is because we spend so much of our time online.
2.3 CONCLUSION
These online magazines are popular because most publishers are looking for cost-
effective methods to generate high-quality material without breaking the bank.

3. ONLINE DICTIONARY: CAMBRIDGE ADVANCED LEARNER’S DICTIONARY.
3.1 INTRODUCTION
The best-selling Cambridge Advanced Learner's Dictionary has been completely
updated. This paperback edition is designed for advanced English learners and
includes up-to-date vocabulary from the fields of technology, media, language, culture,
and lifestyle, as well as key academic terms. The dictionary is ideal as a reference tool
and study companion, with over 140,000 words, phrases, meanings, and examples,
hundreds of photos and illustrations, clear definitions, and a new 'Focus on Writing'
section. It's also great for exam practise because it's based on the Cambridge
International Corpus and correlated to the English Vocabulary Profile.
3.2 EVALUATION & RECOMMENDATION
Authority: Elizabeth Walter is a contributor to this dictionary. Cambridge University
Press is the publisher. She is a Cambridge-based freelance lexicographer and writer.
She spent several years working on Cambridge University Press's ELT dictionaries
and currently collaborates with Kate Woodford on dictionaries and other English
language products.
Quality: For a long time, Cambridge dictionaries have been regarded as the most
reliable and trustworthy sources for British English.
Frequency: It was the world's earliest publishing house, founded in 1534 and active
for over five centuries. Both dictionaries are sent out to bookshops all around the world
after they are published.
Scope: For anyone learning a new language, a dictionary is an essential tool.
Recommendation: Yes, I would recommend others to use this online dictionary. One
of the most significant advantages of using an online dictionary is that it is free to use,
saving us money that would otherwise be spent on purchasing a physical dictionary.
3.3 Conclusion
For anybody studying a new language, a dictionary is a must-have tool. We may
search up the meaning of an English term we see or hear, locate the English translation
of a word in our language, verify the spelling of a word, and so on, using a decent
dictionary.

4.1. INTRODUCTION
Google Scholar makes it easy to conduct a broad search for scholarly literature. We
may search papers, theses, books, abstracts, and court decisions from academic
publishers, professional associations, online repositories, institutions, and other web
sites all from one spot.
4.2. EVALUATION & RECOMMENDATION
Scope: Most peer-reviewed online academic journals and books, conference papers,
theses and dissertations, preprints, abstracts, technical reports, and other scholarly
material, including court rulings and patents, are included in the Google Scholar index.
With 333 highly referenced publications, Google Scholar will always identify new
citations for et al. when it updates its index, therefore the update frequency of this
profile is a fair proxy for Google Scholar's update frequency. The subject coverage also
match my topic. Google scholar also suitable for a comprehensive search of the
literature.
Quality: If the journal is in the database, it will appear in the results list. This will take
us to the material in the journal. We can see that this journal is peer-reviewed at the
bottom. Google Scholar indexes and collects information in a unique way compared to
other databases. The majority of “scholarly” databases index publications on specific
fields or themes, with some journals specifically included. They are, in essence,
constructed by people.
Search facilities: We may get citations for articles in the search result list using
Google Scholar. Copy and paste a formatted citation (APA, Chicago, Harvard, MLA,
or Vancouver) into bibliography management tool, or use one of the links. The
advanced search feature helps users to narrow their search results. To narrow to
specific years, use the articles dated between option. Other search alternatives, such
as looking in specific journals, searching for exact words, and utilising different
keyword methods, might be explored to see what's most beneficial for user search.
Ease of use: Google Scholar is similar to Google in that it is intuitive and easy to use.
Google Scholar allows users to search for a wide range of documents on a wide range
of topics, including articles, books, and "grey literature" such as conference
proceedings.

Recommendation: I highly recommend this online database to students. This is
because, Google Scholar is very easy to use and various articles we can get from here.
4.3. CONCLUSION
Google Scholar searches a wide range of topics, so it almost always comes up with
something. Many of the databases allow Google to'see' their information, and many of
the items you can access are paid for by the University Libraries.
