INTRODUCTION
Preterm birth is the single biggest cause of neonatal morality and morbidity in UK, where
there has been significant rise in UK over the last 10 years. There are estimated 60,000 babies
that are born prematurely in UK every year, where it means that there is 1 in every 13 babies
born in UK that are premature and this has been significantly rising within recent time. Newborn
infants face anemia, breathing problems, infection and newborn jaundice which further
significantly rises risk of death in babies and improper development. Research will shed light to
bring on detailed analysis on examination of facts, significant aspects further leading ton new
untapped information research for gaining data, information in shape. Premature babies have
impact on their development, where their upbringing faces difficulty and less healthy body.
Research proposal will be bringing on detailed working scenarios, of latest scenarios where
methods to be used in research will be correlated to bring on detailed affirmative analysis done.
The research will be taken place, due to significant rise in numbers of pre mature babies and
premature babies where there has been also functional importance for taking new steps. Research

Research questions
What are the causes of premature birth in new born babies?
How does premature births impact on development in new born babies?
What are the new strategies that can be taken, for mitigating impact of premature births
Rationale for research
The rationale for research can be understood with high scale importance significantly
correlated with an increase in premature babies in UK, where there are varied healthcare aspects
declining further leading to babies’ death. The topic for this research has been taken due to
fundamental increase in significant aspects, where premature babies death are increasingly
becoming common in UK. There has been rapid rise seen in premature babies in country, where
data reveals that rate of premature births has climbed to 36 percent since 1980. This has further
lead to leading cause of death among new born and major cause of long term disability
parameters, significantly further leading to rapid risk on their health. Rationale for this research
can be also understood with significant health priorities parameters, where UK aims to bring on
decline in premature baby’s numbers and for further bringing on larger competent scenarios
worked on. Rationale for research also is correlated towards gaining productive data informative
to the topic, where premature babies birth further leads to risk within their development. Further,

qualitative research will enable to gain wider working efficacy further leading to accurate
working advancement in shape, extensively heading on for further pertaining new working
synergies.
There are also causes such as risk factors leading to increased bod weight, i.e obesity
which further impacts on health in new born babies within birth. Improper healthcare conditions
of women, further reduces chance for healthy timely delivery in babies which significantly has
impact on babies overall development aspects variedly (Marsh and et.al, 2020). Research further
will also contribute to attain significant data, and for attaining accurate aspects practically in
shape for further engagement on research for gaining wider knowledge. The rationale for
attaining growth and new research data from research, is also practically connected towards
strengthened working vision profoundly on shape for extended functional rise variedly. UK
health practices are aimed up to further bring on check of pre mature babies, prioritizing
effective check on medical conditions which further will improvise wider scale health structure.
The frequent changes coming up in medical facilities, healthcare situations will be also
researched further, for obtaining informative data aspects in shape and building key results in
shape.
Literature Review
As per the views of Zuraikat and Paintsil (2020), the most common cases of premature
birth in babies are multiple pregnancies among mothers, chronic conditions such as diabetes and
high blood pressure aspects where these has been identified as major aspect. Increased sugar,
high rise in fluctuating blood pressure issues and body temperature further leads to complications
in pregnancies within women. Premature babies, are often also caused due to medical history in
women if the mother had multiple cases in miscarriage within pregnancies which further results
in premature birth. UK has been witnessing huge increase in premature babies recently within
years, where cases are result of various risk factors further leading to complications increase.
As noted by Chen and Deserno (2020), premature labor cases in women also include
placental abruption, incompetent cervix and hormonal changes, infections in body which further
signifies aspects significantly correlated to risk among babies. Women medical history, and
healthcare conditions are profoundly crucial for identifying further labor movements and stages

in pregnancies which further plays strong role. Premature labor also increases impact on less
development of proper organs, in new born babies where causes such as improper medical care
taken and less healthy diet have been found as major aspect. Researcher also examines aspects
related to causes of premature births in babies, have been identified as stringently correlated for
untapped new scale compliance factors. Furthermore, UK has been witnessing high rise in
percentage of premature babies erupting focus towards most significant causes and women
pregnancy conditions.
As per the views of van Dijk-de Vries and et.al., 92020), hormonal imbalance, rise in
stress and anxiety within mother further also hampers medical treatment and proper healthcare
structure which further declines chances for babies to be proper timely delivered. Researcher
further enhances focus towards varied scale functional growth factors, signifying aspects
declining baby’s improper development. External factors such as high rise in stress conditions
and less optimistic well-being further declines significant improvement in baby’s proper
development in womb. Researcher also examined analysis to be pertaining significant focus on
factors where premature birth in previous pregnancy case also plays strong role. Premature
babies are result of often abnormal uterus, due to weak health of mother and weakened cervix
opening early which further may lead to improper birth conditions. But James (2020), another
conditions such as smoking, alcohol drinking condition and addiction of drugs further lead to
decline in women health perspectives. Premature births are also result of poor nutrition in
women, where poor health conditions further reduce functional working engagement
perspectives diversely.
Impact of premature birth on development of new born babies
As per the views of Elngar, Pawar and Churi (2021), premature babies suffer from life-
long effects such as cerebral palsy, mental retardation, visual and hearing impairments and poor
health growth. Babies born only few weeks early, also faces long term difficulties such as
behavioral and social emotional problems within longer run which further also impacts their
growth within body. UK has been witnessing rise in premature birth cases where it further
significantly impacts healthy wellbeing conditions diversely. Premature birth also further
declines living efficiency among babies within varied life, which further also plays wider
extended important role in research. Premature babies have long term difficulty, in limbs and

organs development due to less nutrition and weakness factors. Mental retardation and weakness
in responding due to less brain attentiveness, further also causes new born development in babies
to be reduced.
As researched by ------ babies born prematurely may have health problems with
significant impact on their later body development , where health issues further have issues for
enabling baby to identify and response properly. There has been research evolved, where
premature babies have been found to be also underweight, and less nutrition is there in body with
weak bones and muscles. The fragile skin and needs have to be monitored carefully, which
further declines proper efficiency in living conditions. Furthermore, research factors further also
examine focus on facts, where premature babies also face issues in proper breathing, which
further hampers development on longer run.
As noted by the views of Tiwari and et.al, (2021), premature babies faces anemia,
breathing problems and infections within body which further also has significant impact on
overall wellbeing aspects reducing well functional living conditions. UK has been witnessing
significant rise on premature baby’s numbers, which further hampers wellbeing and aspects
where internal organs are not properly developed. New born Jaundice is also very common in
infants, where babies born before full term delivery also are weak in immunity levels which
further hampers wellbeing scenarios diversely. Research further also concluded premature babies
needs extra minerals and exercises in body for further bone and muscle development. Babies
born prematurely which further also increases more health problems at birth and have later
defects in babies, where there is also long term intellectual development disabilities found in
lungs. There is deformity found in skeleton which further declines proper development within
anatomy, also reduces functional efficiency within brain, eyes and organs. The babies born too
early faces difficulties in brain development, where it is more likely to analyze that they may
face difficulty in later lives which further also impacts overall living efficiency.
Methodology
Research approach:
There are two types of research approaches, which can be classified into Inductive
approach and Deductive approach. Inductive approach identifies new working efficacy and data

understandings. In order to evaluate research for this topic inductive research approach will be
used for further attaining effective data results diversely in use dynamically. Inductive research
approach, will further significantly enhance working reach as per the aim and also to yield wider
scale reach diversely for attaining results (Taczała and et.al, 2021).
Research type:
There are two types of research types, which can be evaluated with detailed analysis on
their impact within research where quantitative and qualitative research aspects are there.
Qualitative research, is theoretical in format which makes it easy for people to evaluate
understandings whereas quantitative research is based upon numerical aspects and graphs,
figures where facts have high accuracy. For this report quantitative research type will be used,
for establishing effective standards and also significantly expanding focus on research type to
further pertain wider leveraged efficiency standards of research.
Research philosophy:
Interpretivism and positivism are two of the most significant research philosophy used by
researchers, where interpretivism research is based on analyzing new vision oriented ideas and
facts for attaining results. Positivism on other hand, lowers efficiency of research and further also
impacts longevity in attaining data accurately (Nasa, Jain and Juneja, 2021).. For this research
interpretivism research philosophy will be used. Research philosophy, will enable data to be
structured up effectively in proper format profoundly for attaining new significant growth
worked on practically within healthcare research.
Research methods:
Primary and secondary research methods are two of the most essential research methods
used, where secondary research is attained form websites and second hand resources. Secondary
information lacks transparency and accuracy of obtained information, the primary resources on
other hand has significant focus on accurate usage of resources, further developing results
obtained to be largely diverse. For this research method primary research method will be use up,
where healthcare professionals will be interviewed. Research will be conducted in proper

structured format, where data information collected from doctors and specific healthcare
professionals will be used for attaining optimum accuracy for wider scale results worked on
(Skrzetuska and et.al, 2021).
Quantitative research methods:
Questioner survey will be used up in form of quantitative research tool and method for
obtaining effective accurate results from healthcare professionals and gaining detailed analysis as
per systematic effective research targets diversely. Furthermore, questioner survey will enable
research method to be in advanced format and pertain significant focus on functional rise within
effective results for gaining wider results. The use of MS excel in data analysis and presentation
of data, will further enable to use quantitative data in structured format effectively within longer
run for extending new parameters. Quantitative data methods will make sure resources used in
research are also dynamically obtained from accurate findings, for ensuring larger vision
oriented significant data worked on practically.
Ethical issues
Confidentiality, anonymity and informed consent are the three most significant aspects
highly crucial for attending towards ethical issues within research effective completion. The
survey and interviews conducted will be also done after full consent taken from participants, this
will make sure that anonymity of information is also developed further within research. Data
storage and depiction of information will be also done further in proper structured format,
bringing on wider scale analysis in shape practically. There will be also focus adhered on using
only reliable data which will make sure method holds accuracy, for further enhancing functional
efficacy imperatively (Döra and Büyük, 2021).
Expected findings
The expected findings from this research can be understood by heading focus towards
findings where it will shed light on obtaining information on reasons for premature babies, where
UK faces an increase number in premature babies. Also long term impacts on health within
premature babies can be seen, which will also enable to gain productive information expanded
