INTRODUCTION
Proper management of project activities requires planning, application of methods, skills,
processes, knowledge, and experience to accomplish the specific project goals or objectives in a
well-defined and effective manner. The main purpose of project management is to identify risks
and problems that impact overall project outcomes (Damij and Damij, 2021). In this, it is
essential to plan, organize and control all project activities in a manageable way. With the help of
creating a proper development process, proper management and administration of all project
activities with the help of formal structure can be done. It helps in assuring successful project
outcomes. The present report is conducted on Central Park Hotel which is operating its services
in the provinces of London, United Kingdom. The hotel offers a wide range of products and
services to consumers with all modern amenities like a gym, swimming pool, 24-hour room
service, Spa extra. It has been identified that there is aggressive competition in the hospitality
industrial sector which leads managers to launch a new product to enhance competitiveness in
the industry and grab the attention of a wide range of consumers. In this report, the discussion
has been conducted on the launch of a new product line by the hotel with work breakdown
structure, stakeholder analysis, risk assessment, and consideration of resources.

There is significantly high competition in the hospitality industrial sector in which
numbers of organizations are offering new products and services to consumers to satisfy their
needs and demand. Due to a significantly very competitive environment during the management
team, one of the managers of Central Park Hotel suggested that it is essential for a company to
launch a new product to attract a large base of consumer segment and diversify the product
portfolio to enhance the overall competitiveness of hotel in industry. A new product development
manager comes up with an idea to develop smart rooms in a hotel that are inclusive of voice
search and voice control systems, mobile check-in services, smart room keys, and other digital
facilities. With the help of this new product a smart room hotel aim towards maximizing the
interest of a large base of consumers from every segment whether they are from business or
youngsters.

The present project is having a wide range of scope, as with the help of smart rooms
Central Park Hotel can enhance its competitiveness in the industry and can serve a maximum
number of customers. It has been identified that the present project is mainly inclusive of the
development of a new product of hotel which is a smart room in which country was our being
provided with many smart facilities such as smart room keys, cloud services, Wi-fi
infrastructure, mobile check-in services, voice search, and voice control system and more
(Harold, 2021). This is being done to offer a modern experience to consumers. In this project
development manager oversees the trend of digitalization in the hospitality industrial sector in
which with the help of taking advantage of digital opportunities hotels can provide this new
product to consumers and can attract them more effectively.
