Meaning of disability-
As discussed by Goodridge, (2015) disability is mental or physical conditions that limits
individual's senses, movements or activities. It is continuing medical condition that restricts
person every day activities or actions. Disability is damage that can be developmental,

individual or person as they will not be able to perform any action or task due to disability. It is
complex phenomenon not just the health issues, it reflects interaction between features or
characteristic of individual's body and feature of community in which she or he lives.
According to Zimmerman (2014) disability is concept of contested, with various meaning in
different societies, it can be used to define to mental or physical attributes that some
organizations, particularly medicine, consider as needing to be set. Disability is part of human
diversity, one in five persons in UK, almost 4 million individual, have disability and this
symmetry is maximizing with the ageing population.
According to Shogren (2014) disability is some conditions of human mind or body that create

more difficulties for person with that condition to do some activities. Individual with disability
face many difficulties while if they interact with other person's around them. Vision, thinking,
movement, learning, mental health, physical health, communicating etc. are the types of
disabilities that affect quality of human life cycle the most. Although, person with disabilities,
sometimes define to individual population, this is really a diverse team of people with number
of wants. Two person with equal types of disability can impact in different terms, some
disabilities is hidden or not been easy to find or see. Cerebral palsy is considered as physical
disability that affect person live and life quality more and more. CP is unit of permanent
movement disorders that shows in early childhood. In UK there are many children's who are
facing this disease and live their life with it. Poor coordination, weak muscles, stiff muscles,
tremors etc. are Cerebral palsy symptoms. Younger with CP face issues to hear, speak, vision
and in other activities, often small babies with this disease do not roll over, crawl, sit or walk as
early as another children's of its age.
Impact of disability on quality of life of people-
Discussed by Huttmann, (2015) disability is one of the most serious and harmful physical and
mental conditions that affect human life and quality of person life the most. Person with
disability partial or totally loss their body and mental functions, they will not be able to work
and do some things in their lives, till when they do not take appropriate treatment for it.
Cerebral palsy is one of types of disability that impact babies life the most, it caused by
abnormal development and damage to part of person brain that managed or control body
movement, posture and balance. Every seen, the CP issue occur during pregnancy period,
moreover, it may occur during baby birth or shortly after birth. Disability is longer term
condition which destroy person life quality that affect its family members and other person
around them. Autism is also known as disability as it considered as development disorder that
create many difficulties for small babies to interact with other children's and communicates
with them. It associated with combination of environment factors and genetic factors, risk
factor is high of this disease during pregnancy.
As discussed by Magasi, (2015) disability have devastating impact on quality of life of disable
or normal people. It effects on person normal live styles and activities which they did every
day, it also impacts on employment, educational attainment and emotional state of person.
Disability jeopardized person personal, social and family life as whole. Common influence of

of severity and conditions as well as emotional, physical, financial etc. In UK rates of disability
is increased due to population ageing and maximizes in chronic health situations among another
causes. Person with disabilities has less resources to health care services and therefore they
experience unmet care needs. Having one individual within family with disability can impact
on each of the members. They feel hesitation to take care about younger person who are having
disability, most of the person get depress due to this. Child with Cerebral palsy disability or
disease face many difficulties, as its family members also suffer a lot. Living with CP child

of professional who helps to improve living standards of ill person. Health cares professional
provide appropriate treatments to disable individual at right time which helps to develop or

1.4 Research methodology
Research philosophy:
It will take in consideration by company which help in setting up of research process and data
assessment in significant and effective manner. Effective adoption and setting up of research
philosophy support suitable plans and bring out of evaluation procedure and data assessment to
investigate the impact of disability on quality of life of people. It helps in developing the
positive knowledge which has been followed by researcher in order to reach appropriate and
desired outputs context to research procedure carried out. Realism, interpretivism and
positivism are the three types of research philosophy. Research operation's and measures that
are been carried out measurable, quantified and visible easily.
Research approach:
After research approach is been selected by researcher, effective theoretical approach is chosen.
Research approach is main section or method of this research procedure that helps in caring
positive outcomes. Suitable selection of research approach lead to placing upper of right
guidelines connected to evaluation procedure and data assessment. In present research,
researcher used theoretical approach that formulated to predict, explain and understand
phenomena and many cases. It helps to extend and challenge existing knowledge within limits
of captious bounding premise. Theoretical framework is one of the best structure that support
and hold the theory of research report.
Data collection:
Data collection is one of the most essential part of current research, it is the procedure of
gathering information or data in context of present topic. Research in this report used secondary
data collection method in which they collect all the informations via reading magazine,
newspaper, articles and they also gather data through internet that is one of the fastest way to
get the accurate information.
Researcher used theoretical approach that is one of the reason behind its connection with
secondary data collection methods.
1.5 Data collection
Data collection:
Researcher used secondary data collection ways that helps to collect all the information
relevant to research. There are the different types of data collection methods which can be used

by researcher, but they chose secondary. Magazine, new and media articles, newspaper,
internet, books and journals are the data sources that help researcher to accomplish this research
and also contribute to gather accurate information. By reading books, using media articles and
other things' researcher collect data or details which support to get more information how
disability affect quality of people life as well as their families.
Data analysis:
Data analysis is one of the second process after data collection, it helps to evaluate
effectiveness of collected information. Quantitative and qualitative research are the two types
of data analysis that helps researcher a lot in process of making report. Researcher in this
research used quantitative research methods to analyse the information or data. Data analysis is
the procedure of evaluating information or data using logical and analytical reasoning to
examine component of information provided.
