INTRODUCTION
In this presentation it is being discussed about various challenges that an company faces
relation to the employees it could be practical and legal issues. These issues are very crucial in
nature and impact the relationship between management and employees. Other than that the
topics that is covered in this presentation about recommendations that an organisation can be use
in the relation of employment issues and making justifiable statement in this presentation is
being studied.
MAIN BODY
Evaluation of practical and legal challenges in relationship with workforce
Challenges that are faced by an organisation in many ways and they affect the working
and hinders the business activities of firm. This is important to evaluate the certain challenges
and try to overcome this through proper analysis. Some issues are related to practical and legal
challenges that is related to workforce. In the Tesco, this challenges use to face by dealing in
legal practices with workforce and impact the environment of company in negative way. Some
of legal and practical issues are as follows-
Employment rights law Act 1996- This is new version to older labour law, this act used
to covers the right of employees in different challenges such as dismissal, unfair
dismissal, paternity leave, maternity leave. This act covers almost all the issues of
employees in the workplace. This is important to consider these issues and making best
of its use to promote the effectiveness of employees.
National Minimum wage Act 1998- This act also known as NMW for employees and
employers in UK. In this act the proper regulations and monitoring the minimum wages
of workforce at regular basis is done by government. In this companies used to review the
condition of inflation in country is being checked by them so that appropriate wages
could be set for employees. In the company Tesco, this challenges which is relates to the
minimum wages is being faced by almost all employees and that create problem for
organisation. As everyone has their different ability of earning according to their
capabilities and on the basis of that they receive the wages and salaries so it become as a
challenge for firm to decide minimum wages.

gender, caste, religion and that destruct and put the company's reputation behind and
become difficult to operate in that situations. In the company Tesco, this is usually face
by them as it is very big company and numerous of employees are working. This hamper
the growth of task that demotivate them in their working conditions.
The equality Act- As in company there are many ways through which employees face
the issue in the relation to equality and that could be in the different forms. Workfare
used to confront with certain this act deals with this circumstances and maintaining the
efficiency in the firm. Some managers used to treat with their employees according to
their behaviours and personal conflicts so that create the unhealthy environment in
company. In the Tesco, this challenges can be faces due to their diversity in different
attitute and personality and adversely influence the work performance of employees and
distract the focus in their task and build inefficiency.

reduce the overall growth. So, through certain laws and regulations implementation in firm will
help them to confront and develop the growth in their overall goals and objectives. In the Tesco,

to resolve themselves.

Conflict Management- The frequency of conflict in company is very uncertain and
could take place anywhere at anytime. This could include the disagreement between
employee and employer, personal conflict or any other reason This will result in poor
morale among employees and misunderstanding will create among them. In the Tesco,
this conflict could be resolve by Employment Right law act 1996 as this act include the
rights of employee such as dismissal, unfair dismissal and many other. This act will
provide the power against all odds to workforce to deal with such challenges.
Pay rises- This challenges is related to the complain about rate of pay that is related to
recently raise pay. So it must be ensure that employees should get the fair wages and
salary according to the work done by them. This is important to consider this issues as
