ABSTRACT
This report is focused on the challenges that are faced by students in the university education
time. This report is based on the study of different time related challenges that are faced by
the students in managing time in the University along with other commitments. Research of
different researchers has been considered in this study in order to analyse the various
challenges that are commonly faced by the students in university period. Critical analysis of
student has been made in this study. Various recommendations also has been provided in the
study. Various literatures has been considered to collect base information of challenges that
are faced by the student in university life related to time and work management.

INTRODUCTION
There are different challenges are faced by the student in the university education. The time
of university period is really for students. They have to face many challenges that are crucial at
the time. This report is providing brief over view of the challenges that are faced by the students
while study in their university education. Among these challenges this is very difficult for these
students to effectively manage time due to various related issues. Different recommendations are
also provided in the study that can be implemented by the students to avoid the problems in the
education or university time.
LITERATURE REVIEW
Challenges in the student life are most common and this is too difficult to management al the
activities with in the education process in the university. Some of the most common challenges
that are faced by students in university are- Dis organization of work ad time, eating Right and
stay healthy, economical issue, home sickness, poor grades, poor sleep habits and poor grades.
As per the Oh, Acquisti and Sia, (2018) all these issues or challenges are faced by the student in
university education time. These challenges can affect their professional and student life both.
This can cause them different difficulties which are not good for their professional and personal
life. The main reason behind this condition can be considered as poor time management. All the
student need is time to manage their activities and professional life in university education
period. To solve these challenges this is important for the student to consider the time
management related issues in personal life. By studying effective time management process
student can effectively manage their personal and student life with effective management of time
using different tools and techniques. For each issues some common processes and some different
processes and methods can be used. This is how various challenges are faced by the student in
the university time.
As per the view of Talka and Iseni, (2016) The most common challenge which is faced by is
disorganization with in daily routine. As they have to complete their education form new area
and location this is really difficult for them to manage their personal life with in new place with
challenges of new place. This also can be considered as transitional change in the life of student.
This transition affect their personal lifestyle and routine schedule. This is the major reason
behind challenges of the university period. A lot stress and pressure can lead to the condition of
lack of management in the organizing task of the daily life. This is one of the major challenge for

the student to effectively manage their daily routine tasks in effective way. This is important for
the individual to organize their life in proper way to make the best utilization of time and
resources that are available to them. By this effective utilization students will be able to achieve
their goals related to the personal and professional. It also can improve their learning. Due to this
mismanagement or lack of organization in work prevent them for performing certain work which
is important for their studied and performance in the educational program. This is how lack of
organization in routine life is major challenge for students.
According to Suharto and Fasa, (2017) some challenges that are faced by the student in routine
life can affect their personal life also. Money is major resource that is important for the survival
of person in daily life. In university time students are not that much capable to earn that much to
make all the arrangements which are important for them in different ways. Lack of financial
resources keep their actions limited and do not allow them to effectively complete their studies.
To full fill the monetary requirements this is crucial for them to join different jobs to earn money
to make available resources the can help them to complete their graduation. This is most
common challenge that is faced by the student in their university education. They are not that
capable to arrange proper resources which are enough for them. This is how financial challenge
if major problem for student in university education period. To avoid this challenge students
used to join different jobs in local places like restaurant, supermarket and other places which are
good source of money. This is also important for them to make proper budgeting to avoid such
problem in future. This budget can help them to make proper arrangements in order to effectively
utilise financial resources to effectively manage their education cost along with routine expenses.
As pet the view of Folch, (2017) most of the time students face financial challenges which can
affect their routine life. To get over these financial crisis they prefer to work in local stores and
supermarkets to earn money to complete their education on their own. This is major issue for
them to work in local stores along with university education. This can lead to mismanagement of
time and work in education process. This also can affect the grades of students in university
exams. This is how it is very difficult for the students to manage their student life with
professional life. There are various challenges are faced by the student in the routine life with
management of professional career. Some of most common challenges which are faced by the
students while they are working in local stores and supermarket to earn money. This can affect
their education process. They do not have time to complete their assignments which are

important for their grades in university exam. This is how this challenge affect the grades of
students and affect their professional life. The tuition costs are rising more quickly. This is not
possible for the students for students to arrange all the money to take tuition for their university
education. There are many students are drop out form university due to lack of money. This is
how it is most difficult for the student to make proper arrangements to address the money related
issues in university education period. There are various process can be used by the students to
solve the issues that are related to the finance in the education process. Some of most common
process which can be used by the student to avoid financial trouble are- on campus job can help
the students to meet the financial requirement in the university, effective budget plan is also
effective way to avoid this issue and it can help them to pay their tuitions fees without getting
trouble.
As per the view of Mag, Sinfield and Burns, (2017) apart from other challenges the most
common problem or challenge faced by the students is related to the home sickness. Most
students go to other places to complete their higher education. This can lead to condition of
home sickness. This can affect their confidence and affect their personal life with professional
student life. This challenge is especially difficult for those people who are too far from their
home and can not go back to home very frequently. This can cause sickness in people and it can
affect their educational process. There are different processes can be used by the students to get
rid of this issue of getting home sick. By getting care packages form home and going back to
home each month of two months can prevent this home sickness in students. This also can keep
them motivated and encourages to complete their graduation effectively with higher grades.
RECOMMENDATIONS
There are different processes can be used to prevent the challenges in the student life which are
common in most of the students. For example challenges that are related to the timing issue can
be prevented by making effective time table and routine plan with work management. This can
provide them enough time to avoid such problem of time management and work management
(Licite, Janmere and Auzina, 2017). The financial issues also can be prevented by making
effective budget plan and arrange the sources of finance which are present with in the university
campus. It can help them to prevent monetary issues in routine life. The challenges of home
sickness also can be prevented by frequent visit to home to stay confident and effective in
university program.

CONCLUSION
This report is concluding various challenges that are faced by the students in the university
education related to the time management and other general issues which are common for these
people. Various literatures also used to make proper evaluation of the challenges that are faced
by the students in routine life. Different recommendations also has been provided in the report
that can help the students to get rid of these situations.
