Introduction
There are various challenges at the University level that is required by the students to accept the
challenge that is needed to develop the skills required for the success in University.
This report will focus on the challenges like debate challenge, presentation challenge, tee shirt
challenge and hotel challenge. This report will analyse the four of this Challenges to focus on
the business angles like operations, finance, branding. it will also cover reflection on the skills
that will be required during the challenge like communication skills, teamwork skills, time
management and business skills etc. In the end of this report will cover action plan to improve
the skills within three years at University.

Debate challenge
Debate is the process that involves formal discussion on a particular topic. people who
participate in the debate put forward their arguments and viewpoints (Liu., 2019). Debates
Occurs usually in public meetings, academic institutions etc. The debate can be challenging for
the people because it required high level of knowledge and understanding of the topic they are
talking about. In the business, debate can be useful for the branding, finance and operations.
from the debate challenge, I have learned that there is a need for discussion among the various
departments in an organization. This is required to make decisions for achieving the goals of the
company. this encompasses the decisions reading their brand, arrangement of the finance and
management for operations. As a student Debates Skills or challenge was useful for me to
develop communication skills.
Presentation challenge
Presentation challenge are one of the most important part of the organization and it is
challenging as well because presentation is created by many employees and one of them is only
selected for the project . The presentation can about branding where they discuss about how and

what models and methods will be used to aware people about the brand, from the above
challenges on the report presentation I have learned that the finance presentation shows The
structure of finance that is required By the company And this presentation will be made by the
finance manager of the company. On the operation level finance presentation will be required
because finance is most necessary thing that helps to run each and every operation of the
company. As a student I can use the presentation skills to be more effective in the business by
developing the report within the University.
T-shirt challenge
T- Shirt challenges are also an useful Technique that is useful for the branding of the
shirts within the market and attract customers to buy a tee shirt from the company ( Fearon, and
at.al., 2020). This challenge is also focused on the finance because advertisement is done on the
Television which required the higher amount of finance within the business, so they can run the
challenge on the TV an attract customers to buy their products. it is function of the marketing
operational team that is responsible too run the advertisement on the television. From the above
challenges I have learned that how Challenges like this can help me to learn something that is
Creative within the business and can be helpful for me to grow at the university level.
Hotel challenge
In the hotel business there are various challenges that can take place for the businesses. some of
them are cleanliness, Excellent service, sustainability an good experience for their customers.
this all are the hotel challenge that require a specific skill. From the Hotel Challenge I have
observed that it is necessary for the hotel staff to accept this challenge to speared awareness of
their brand and to conduct this challenge, it required higher amount of finance within the
business and this all is covered under the operations called housekeeping Department, office
Department and many more.
Ice Challenge
Ice challenge is also known as ALS Ice bucket challenge, This activity include the
pursing of the bucket of ice over the other person's head. It can be either by the any other person
or it can also be completed itself. This challenge is done by the people to spread awareness of the
disease Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis which is also known as Neuron Disease.

As I student I gain a knowledge that every challenge have their own meaning and
because of the Ice challenge I came to know about Neurone Disease that can affect nerve cells
that control the muscles that unable us to move, Swallow and breath.
Through the Ice challenge I can learn to improve my knowledge and develop new way to
see the things and I will try to understand what are the challenges are done by the people and
reason of doing that challenge.
Reflection on skills
Communication skills/ Emotional intelligence
Communication skills and emotional intelligence skills are required for the debates. By
participating in the debate I have developed communication challenges and I have gained
experience about the debate and I have from learnd thorough observation (Evans and
Richardson., 2017). From the previous experience I will take participation in the Debate
Challenge and with the times I will able to develop communication skills.
Teamwork
Team working practices are professional practices in which a group of people linked with
the common purpose or the goals. As a Student, I participated in Presentation challenge. From it,
I learnt that it is necessary for me to have the team working skills. This will be helpful for me
during group presentation within the University where student's can make their group and make
a sidle presentation. Participation in the presentation challenge helped me to learn how group
activities take place and how roles are decided.
Time management and meeting skills
Time management skills are most important for the students and it is necessary for me to have
time management skills, so I can mage my times effectively at the University level. It will be
helpful for me in Carrier development (Chu and et.al., 2017). I have participated in the Hotel
chellnage in which I have develop time management skills. It is because Hotel staff are Highly
training, and they have to work on times, so they can provide fast services to their customers.
