INTRODUCTION
E- portfolio collection of work and a process of assembling different document with the
support of electronic media (Mok and Jiang, 2018). It is crucial for a person to develop and
create effective electronic portfolio which includes information and data that will help student in
performing academic study in better manner. The main purpose of E – portfolio is to support
learner in recording of documents and reflect the collection of work in more creative manner. E
portfolio is beneficial for using documents anytime or anywhere. This report is based on ASDA
company. this is one of the well established company which is providing its products to different
customs. This report includes different challenges that is faced by an individual along with this
different skill are determined that will assist in resolving those challenges. Apart from this action
plan is developed that will assist in developing different skills.
MAIN BODY
Challenges
There are various issues and challenges faced by person while conducting business
operations and academic studies. It is crucial to identify and analyse different challenges in order
to perform required task in more better and accurate manner.
Presentation challenge – There are various issues that is faced by person while preparing
presentation. It is very important to develop and create effective content of presentation which is
able to influence the target audience and engagement them with in presentation. This is the major
challenges that is faced by person while presenting ideas to others. Lack of confidence and
inappropriate communication skill affect the capability of person to give presentation.
Development of creative and innovative content is the challenge that is faced by an individual.
T- Shirt challenge – This challenge is related to development and creation of T- shirt.
This include issues related to problem is creating a innovative design of T-shirt which is
according to the requirement as well as able to meet with the need of person (Amirali and
Bakken, 2015). There are different issues and challenges faced by person while creating design
and lack of information about good quality of material and colour combination is the issues for
an individual. Lack of creatively lead to affect the designing of T shirt and building unique T
shirt. It is crucial for a person to overcome these issues and enhance the process of designing T
shirt.

Debate challenge – This is the challenge faced by person while participating in debate
completion. Lack of communication is the major challenge that is related to the debate challenge.
Due to ineffective communication skill a person will not be able to clearly explain their thoughts
in correct manner as well as affect their presentation (Yamanaka and Shimamura, 2017).
Incomplete knowledge and information about the topic will also affect the performance of a
person in debate. Due to these challenge a person will not be able to explain their view point in
creative and impactful manner.
Hotel challenge – This includes all those challenges that is faced by person in conducting
the task of hotel. It is very important for hotel staff to full fill the need of customer and
effectively perform all set of task. Lack of time management skills and team work issues lead to
affect the performance of a person in hotel. This will have direct impact on brand image of hotel
as well as customer experience.
Skills
There are different skill that will help in resolving various issues and challenges that is faced
by person. It is crucial for a person to take appropriate and necessary steps of develop these skills
and improve performance.
Communication skills and emotional intelligence – Communication skill lead to
increase the capability of a person to convey thoughts, ideas and information in such a
manner that receiver understand the message completely. Emotional intelligence skill
helps in understanding the emotions of other and manage it in more accurate way.
Teamwork – This can be describe as the capability of a person to effectively perform
task in group activity. Team work skills support in developing better relationship with
other so that common goal of team could be timely achieve. This skill will help perform
in resolving presentation challenge and perform organisation task in better manner.
Time management and meeting skills – Time management skill refer as the capability
of a person to conduct different task in better and effective manner. This will help in
completing required task with in set timeframe (Hawkins and et.al, 2015). Meeting skills
can be describe as the ability of a person to get involve in meeting as well as discussing
on topic or resolving issues.

Business skill including presentation skill and excel – This skills refer as the potential
of a person to create and present data in more appropriate and creative manner. Excel is a
software that is used by company in order to improve the efficiency of employee work.
Action plan
This is the plan that is developed by an individual to enhance different skills and capability
of a person. Action plan refer as the process which will include how and when different action
should be taken in order to develop required skills. In action plan, individual need to develop a
goal such as improvement in communication skill or time management skill in order to resolve
different issues that affect performance. After this different tools and approaches will be consider
for developing these skills. Standards for development of skills will be created along with this
different measurement approaches will be determine.
CONCLUSION
From the above report it can be concluded that it is very important for a person to identify
and analyse different issues and challenges. There are various skills that will assist in resolving
the issues and increase the capability of a person. Apart from this action plan will assist in
development of required skill set.
