4.5 “Recognize and take immediate action to deal with any bullying, harassment or
oppressive behavior according to policies and procedures of the setting”
If a child is showing the oppressive behavior then it is important for the teacher to focus
on maintaining the behavior so that the behavior can be changed according to the overall policies
and procedures of the school. Also, the teachers should take immediate action according to their
role and responsibilities so that it can be easy to make the children happy. To manage the
situation related to bullying or harassment it is important for the teacher to ask information from
the student so that it can be easy for the children to share their feelings. When the student
showcase the wrong behavior then it is important for them to focus on the unethical act which is
conducted by them. It has been analyzed that children behave in a wrong manner just because
they have done something wrong (Malins, 2016).
The teacher should try to suggest the new ways so that the wrong act which is done can
be improved. The school of conduct should be conveyed so that children can conduct the activity
in the right direction. It has been seen that the teachers should tell the students or explain the
code of conduct so that it can be easy for them to take the right step. Advice is one of the factors
that should be given by the teachers to the students so that they cannot take the right step. If the
student is involved in the serious problem then it is important for the teacher to advice the steps
that should be taken into consideration by the student so that in right direction activities can take
place. Proper learning session should be taken by the teachers so that children can easily share
their views and opinion or the incidents which took place with them (Amstutz, 2015).
If the students are harassed then it can give negative impact on the entire activities and
also it can affect the working pattern of the student. The student will not be able to focus on the
activities if they are harassed or have oppressive behavior. The teacher should focus on
managing the attitude of the individual so that it can be easy for them to boost the morale of the
children and it will also provide the right direction to the children (Lund, 2014).
It is important for the individual to behave according to the policies and procedures of the
school. If they are not behaving in the right manner then it can affect the overall learning
structure. Teachers can only provide guidance to the children and can motivate them to work in
the right direction. It is important for the teacher to focus on the strategies like conducting

learning sessions for the students so that if case any unethical act is conducted with the students
they can take the right step and conduct or complete the task with proper efficiency. It is the best
