Introduction
Sometimes a person can be own worst enemy. The success is very difficult in comparison of
the failure. This is very easy to stay in the familiar circumstances, though this does not feel
good on the surface. In the following parts, meaning of change, causes of change, types of
change, plan of a change and way to overcome the change is discussed and critically
examined.
What is a change?
The changes are something that press us out of the level of comfort. The change refers to an
act or procedure to make or become different. The change is necessary to overcome from
fear1.
What causes a change?
The external environment and internal environment of may cause the change in organisation.
The internal environment includes the style of managing the corporation, approaches or
strategies and procedures, and the work style or attitude of the workers. Conversely, the
external environment includes the various technologies, communities, administrative and
governmental elements and the economic curve2.
Types of change
There are following three types of change -
1. Transformational change- The transformational change particularly aims a
corporate strategy of the entity. The corporations that are well suitable to withstand

2. Transitional change- the transitional change is change, which is made to substitute
the current procedure with innovative procedures. The transitional changes include
the experiencing structure of company, merger, or acquisition.
3. Developmental change- The Developmental change refers to the procedure of
change, which takes place in the individuals through the development. Gene
appearance, functions related to mind, reasoning procedure, conduct, and
environmental elements all involve numerous cross-stage interaction and all are
featured by active developmental change over a period4.
Plan of a change
The change plan is the description of the planned change and the actions required to get
them. Following steps should be considered in changing plan-
1. Think about gap between actual performance and desired performance
2. Think in respect of reasons for change
3. Measure the arguments to implement change
4. Note the action which is essential to take
5. Undertake the cost-benefit analysis and state the case
6. Set the outcomes which are require to achieve by the procedure of change
7. Set the target to get results
8. Create the change management aims
9. Recognise the difficult stage
