INTRODUCTION
Change management referred as a systematic approach which helps a company to deal
effectively with the transformations or transition of the company's goals and objectives (Wu and
et.al., 2015). Present report discusses about the change control process which involves dealing
with the changes and how does change has the impact on the projects scope, time, cost and
quality.
MAIN BODY
1. Process involved in the submitting the request for dealing a change
Following is the process which is involves in submitting a request to deal with changes
are as follows:
1. For starting the successful change request it is vital for gathering the necessary information,
project manager should gather the necessary information why the change have to be
implemented and what will be the benefits the change for the project. In order to this project
manager has to rely on 7 R of the request of change management. Which are as:
ï‚· Raised.
ï‚· Reason.
ï‚· Return.
ï‚· Risks.
ï‚· Resources.
ï‚· Responsible.
ï‚· Relationship.
2. Project manager should correctly evaluate the efforts of a change which important which
needs the factor which can result in the start for change and influence the employees towards it
(Kerzner, H., 2017). An estimate of request of change should include:
ï‚· Project objectives.
ï‚· Means for achieving the change.
ï‚· Each employee's roles and responsibilities.
3. Project manger should identify the impact of change before implementing the changes, here
project manager has to face a risk of identifying the risks and impact of request of change as it

can make the project failure or success. Proper information should be provided with the original
application and identification of risks which includes:
ï‚· Consequences of not implementing the change.
ï‚· Resources required for implementing the change.
ï‚· Implementation schedule.
4. Project manager should implement the change in well structured way in order to get approval
in order to get approval for change project manager should follow the tasks below:
ï‚· Building a change.
ï‚· Providing the pre-tested change.
ï‚· Formulation comprehensive plan for developing a change.
ï‚· Implementation of change
5. After implementing the change project manager should implement the post implementation
monitoring.
2. Critical analysis
It can be analysed that Robert L. Frank construction company are facing various problem
and due to which company is facing various problems. Company should bring change in the
organisation which can improve its operations like company has to improve their communication
system and has to reduce the response time of their employees. Also, company has to develop a
budgeting structure for the project and has to place well planned purchase orders. If these
changes is implemented in the organisation it will have the positive impact on the company
(Sajadand et.al., 2016). Through proper communication process company can improve the
quality of project as it will help in setting the collaboration between the teams and management.
For this company should develop two-way communication process. By developing strong
budgeting plan and providing strict guideline for adhering the plan will help the company to
reduce the cost of project. Also, this change management process will be used for initiating,
approving, recording and resolve the project changes so, it is important enhance the scope of
project and also approving the project deliverables.

There are various options available through which change request can be satisfied which

Effective communication process: It is the one of the major change which can bring huge
results for the company. For this one option available is that company should develop a two-way
communication process in the organisation which can set proper collaboration among the
employees and the management (Sudhodanan and et.al., 2017). The risk associated with it is that
this may result in the interference of the employees in management decisions which can result in
poor development of strategies.
Developed budgeting: Also, company should develop a proper budgeting framework which can
help the company in completing the project in the pre-planned budgets. This is the best option
which help the company for reducing the cost of projects. The risk associated with this is that
lack of software knowledge within the budget planner which can cause loss for the project.
Reducing the response time: In order to reduce the response time with in the organisation,
company can use the approach of JIT which is the best option for company to reduce response
time (Di Giammarcon and et.al.,2018). The risk associated with JIT is that there may be a risk of
running out of stock which may result in project delays.
