change management helps project to efficiently adopt and implement change in the project for
the success of project. Change management leads to progress of project through the following
ways:
Creating Climate for Change: Before implementing change in project the first step is
to create a suitable climate at the project area in order to efficiently implement project
change. Climate suitable for change includes sense of urgency, powerful alliance and
vision and strategy of change.
Engaging and Enabling Whole Organization: For implementing change in project, the
organization need to undertake the certain components such as communication with the
vision of change, empowering every involved with the change and removing obstacles.
Implementing and Sustaining Change: Moreover change management plays an
efficient role in introducing further changes in project and approaching the culture and
profit from the change (Brones, et. al., 2017).
To analyze, assess and manage project changes, the project could implement the use of certain
process or strategies such as readiness to assess change in project, effective communication with
people associated with project, establishing project roadmap with the inclusion of change,
provision of change management training, management of resistance in project, feedback from
employees related with change, reinforcing change and the final process would be overview of
the changes in project.
Moreover the change management techniques and tools such as communication techniques and
flowcharts and process used in project helps to manage change through driving and delivering
change with minimal risk to the project.
