Change is unavoidable. Change management in organization is more than managing
natural changes which could take place within any company. Change management within
organization is managing the change for ensuring desired outcomes of behavior would result as
well as work to ensure the goal of the organization. Due to the change management, operation
mode or culture of organization would be changed. It is most desired often when the organization
would implement new processes for business as for technological initiatives as well as new
implementations of application (Hayes, 2018). Change management could be tough. This is
tough in changing way to work as well as modify processes for suiting needs or processes of new
application. Good project manager could ensure that there is smooth change management and
ensure success of the project too. Project could be considered as successful by project managers
when it is accepted by the users as well as utilize new process or application. If this is the process
change which should be done, project manager must change through showcasing benefits which
could be accrued through holding new process. A change could be implemented within phased
manner. It would help to make rest of users understand advantage to understand new process.
Change management is way to standardize way process for effectively operating to
manage changes with the minimal impact over organization, processes and product. Hence,
process of change management comes in picture for taking change. Change’s importance could
be for security issues, regulatory compliance, mandated requirements of government (Kerzner,
2017). Change within requirement of Parks Corporation doesn’t change only product being
developed, however all things that are involved within this project. Cost, timeline and schedule
would change along the project and also skills and resources required for the change. Prioritizing

change within Parks Corporation would help in placing changes within their project. Correct
actions for change within Parks Corporation would be suggested by Gary for handling the risks
associated with the Blue Spider Project. Change management would look like overhead during
initial level (Cameron & Green, 2019). This might be tough for Gary and his tea in adapting to
new process when the conditions given for Blue Spider Project. His team’s little discipline would
streamline overall process.
Digital transformation generated several great projects. They have direct impact over the
organization and their way to work. Managing Blue Spider Project is not about technical
implementation. This is about establishment of required change in Parks Corporation. There is
very crucial role of change management in the project of Blue Spider. Change is referred to the
organization’s continuous and discontinuous development, where Parks Corporation’s few
dimensions would be changed. Gary as project manager must be clear from outset. For
counteracting the resistance in the Project of Blue Spider, Gary should focus as project manager.
Difference between change management and project management is in focus and function (Pugh,
2016). In similar way, skills required for respective role differ naturally. Within change
management, knowledge of Gary is key for success. As project manager, Gary should encourage
his team for giving up their way to work ad set patterns for behavior. As project manager, Gary
would be responsible to change knowledge, behavior and attitude of team members for project of
Blue Spider.
