given emphasis is by empowering the broad-based action in which the action is related with
centralization decision making and developing top down leadership.2 The outcome which is
achieved of this change that the company started to respond faster to change in the
environment by giving emphasis on software and service.
Innovation in Sony is managed by taking into consideration various Models like
concept idea generation in which the company gather ideas from various sources like form
research and development, design division and from interaction and graphic design
department3. The ideas are evaluated by using the economic value added and also many other
methods. On the basis of R&D the final decision is taken with the help of top management.
Protype is also used which help analyze the demand of the customers and also the pricing
campaigns. One of the latest innovation of Sony is internet TV.
In Apple recent implementation of the change has taken place in leadership and
structure. In leadership change it is analyzed that the CEO of the company focused on the
untraditional leader who are capable in managing the stakeholders of the company4. So, when

through various approaches. The first approach is innovative business model in which the
strategies are seen through which innovation is managed.
One of the strategy is this that the company gives focus to in store service so that
demand of the product can be enhanced. The innovative approach is that iPod and iPhone
have no impact if they are not connected with iTunes and the app store. Next is apple design
process in which the company focuses on introducing new friendly design which will help to
use the process in an easy manner. So, these approached helped the company to manage the
