Stakeholder analysis of the project
With this very analysis it becomes easy for the project manger to ascertain the interest of
the stakeholders with the following project (Raum, 2018.). Here, as per the very first stage, this
matrix is going to be used for determining the external and internal stakeholders and their
interest associated with the project as well as the power that they hold.
Here is the following stakeholder matrix of the current project:
High Keep Satisfied Manage Closely
Document Page
Power Monitor (Minimum effort) Keep Informed
Low Low Interest
High
Manage closely- This is a very important factor as seen here the power and the interest
associated with the close management is very high. This management can be look over by the
internal stakeholders such as the project managers, the team members, volunteers etc.
Keep informed- This factor is also very important as the internal as well as external
stakeholders should be informed time to time about the progress of the event. The external
stakeholders do not have the high power but they definitely have high interest.
Keep satisfied- This is important for the external stakeholders such as the audience of the
project. If the stakeholders are not satisfied it may lead to the project failure.
Monitor- Stakeholders who monitor the project event are the participants, attendees and the
spectators, they hold a very low interest and the power both.
