The program director gets a call from the higher authorities in order to submit the

missed. The program director tries to convince the project manager in turn the project

 The program director gets the order from the higher authorities to submit the task
even if encryption of the project is not ready for the submission.
 The project manager on entering the cabinet of the program director. On entering the
cabinet the program director asks the project manager to complete the project a month
earlier even though the encryption of the project might be absent.
 The project manager refuses to do the project without using the encryption of the data
present in the project.
 The program director then tries to demonstrate the lucrative deals that the entire team
of the project and the project manager would receive on submitting the project before
a month. The lucrative deal includes a huge amount of bonuses for the team.
 The program director also insists that on obeying the instructions of providing the
project one month earlier the Willis’ are going to sanction another project of huge
amount.
 The project manager also told that the good will of the company might be at stake if
the project was not submitted by a month before the allotted deadline.

 If the project manager allows the project to get submitted without encrypting the data,
the main issues that can take place because of not encrypting the data of the website is
the fact that unauthorized access to the data by personnel who are not affiliated to
access the data.
 Due to this unauthorized access of data the documents present n the platform which
are personal and require permit to access can be accessed without any proper permit

which will lead to the disastrous act of spreading of personal data among the mass
which can be later modulated and used against the genuine clients of the website.
Q4. Who is affected?
 The most affected victims from the massacre will be the users of the project. In case
of not encrypting the data of the project the data that will be present in the project can
be retrieved by the external and unauthorized access of data.
 The good will of the company who has made the project will be affected immensely.
The position that the company was dwelling in will fall apart due to providing lack of
robustness in their project. As being the back end organizer of the project the
company might suffer a loss of revenue and clients.
 Another affected company will be the organization who will be launching the project
as the mass will have a direct access to the organization and the goodwill of the
organization will be completely demolished.
Q5. What are the ethical issues and their implications?
 Prioritizing money ahead of the quality of project is completely against the ethics of
the corporate sector (Werhane, 2014). According to the ethics the quality of the
product should never be sacrificed in order to gain money (Crane & Matten, 2016).
 The personal details of the client shall never be exposed (Hartman, DesJardins &
MacDonald, 2014). Although the client has been provoking the developers to submit
the task in return to which the client was offering a huge sum of money (Andriof &
McIntosh, 2017).
 Leadership of the project manager will be one of the ethical issues of the corporate
sector (Pirson, et al 2016). The project manager must support the team members who
are working under him in order to motivate the team (Weiss, 2014).

 The technical team supporting the project of the organization should not submit the
project without encrypting the data even if the organization promises to give enough
amounts of bonuses.
 The production team must stick to the ethics that states that under any circumstances
the personal details of the clients must not be exposed and protection of the
information stored in the data base of the system.

The options that are provided are as follows: -
 The project manager agrees to the program director and submits the project a month
before without encrypting the data of the clients whose information has been included
in the project. Which resulted in leaking of the data from the project and the personal
details of the clients were exposed.

 The project manager disagrees to the program director and refuses to submit the
project without encrypting the project, which resulted in the removal of the project
manager. This factor caused the delay in submission of the project.
 The project manager makes the point of not submitting the project without encrypting
the data and explains the causes of not submitting the project to the product
developer, the product developer understands the points stated by the project manager
and explains them to the higher authorities to delay the submission to the regular time
of submission.
Q8. Which option is the best and why?
Explaining the consequences of not encrypting the data to the program director and
the product developer understanding the point of view of the project manager and supporting
him is the correct option as this option will value the ethics of the job prospect and prevent
the personal data of the client to get exposed (Crane & Matten, 2016).
