Sensorimotor stage- This stage occurs at age between birth to maximum 24 years. At this
phase the child develops understanding about themselves and environment. Child gains
the potential to distinguish between themselves and other objects.
The Pre operational stage-This stage occurs at when child is toddler between age of 18 to
24 months, during early childhood. At this phase, the child does not have potential to
conceptualise the things and needs concrete physical situations.
Concrete stage-This stage occur between age of 7 to 11 years. At this phase,there is
physical experience are gained by child and increase in needs such as accommodation.

Formal stage- This stage occurs at the age between adolescence through adulthood. At
this stage, child gain various knowledge. During this phase, child has the potential to make their
own decision. They are able to provide the reasons for their decision.

predictable and less labile. Negative emotions become more infrequent. The people at this stage

1.12 The various internal and external factors have great effect on the person development
process. Health , family background , family income are the three major factors that have great
impact on the child development process. Family income is the important factor as the children
gains supports from their family and if their parents fails to provide facilities. This factor may
have adverse effect on the development process of child. Children in families with greater
disparities in wealth, along with the persistence and depth of poverty, also have critical effects on
child development and well-being (Leban and Zulauf, 2014)
1.13 The issues faced by the Jordan has negative effect on his development procedure. Due to
this factor, Jordan may feel unsecure and may not able to live comfortable life like other
children. This factor may lead to decrease in the moral and self confidence in child. These issues
have direct impact on child behaviours and mental development. It also has great impact on child
learning process and ability to gain knowledge.
1.14 The following things the case manager is required to observe these are the way their
client behave, reaction of the client, the before of client, recognising the expectation of the client,
Evaluating the information, understanding the story and identifying the issues. When listening to
the story of client the case manager is required to make eye contact with the client, develop a

trusting environment, as this will help them in recognising the development status of their
client. The other technique is Discussion and communication that can be used by the case
manager for knowing development status (Ballesteros and Covert, 2018)
1.15 It is essential to consider alternative explanations for factors that might have effect on
client appearance and behaviour in order to convince client to facilitate or conduct particular
procedure or activity. This task is conducted in order to provide client with the best possible
solution to resolve their problem.
1.16 As this activity helps the case manager in identifying the client behaviour and their
relationship with other people. As relationship is the major and important factor that might have
positive or adverse effect on individual development process. Case manager be interested in
acquiring information from a client’s about carers,
family, or significant others when attempting to clarify a client’s developmental status as it also
supports manager in identifying the various issues that are faced by person (Zhang, Cao and
Wang, 2018)
1.17 As in the given case study as a case manager I would like to communicate with the victim
and their relatives in order to collect various information. I would like to gather information
about the complete incident that has happened. As this activity or information will help me in
identifying the ways to support the victim and help Tammy ion her development procedure. The
data collected by me also helps in analysing her behaviour before and after the incident. It will
also allow me to identifying the impact of the incident on her development process and
recognising her development status (Williams, 2018)

2.1 The employees working with client in his or her organisation , senior staff or leaders.
As these are the people who can provide accurate information about the client
development status.
2.2 I will take initiative to first collect information about this disease and by conducting
the research I Will able to identify the way I should behave or treat people suffering
from this disease. Then I will communicate with Hassan as this activity will assist me
in developing understanding with him. This factor will help in working comfortably

with him. I will take initiative to learn his learning pattern and support him in
completing task.
2.3 The children have to bear high risk due to delay in development. As these delays have
direct effect on their development procedure. Infection and Severe poverty. Exposure
to harmful agents or after birth, may lead to Infection. This is the important and
major is the factor that has direct impact on the health of the child and it can create
barrier in child development process. The poverty is the another factor that have
direct influence or effect on the child growth. As due to financial issues, the family or
parents may not able to fulfil the development need of child.
2.4 As this will assist case manager in identifying the influence of various factors that
might have direct impact on individual development process. Risk assessment assists
case manager in supporting his client in preparing the strategy or plan in order to
eliminate various barriers in development process (Mussatto, Hollenbeck-Pringle,
Trachtenberg and Dunbar-Masterson, 2018.)

3.1 A) Physical abuse-It is refers to as act conducted by person with the intention to harm
or injury to other person through bodily contact. It is also recognised as domestic
violence.
B) Sexual abuse-It is defined as molestation and generally considered as undesired sexual
behaviour that is conducted by an individual to exploit or harm other person. This type of abuse
include force or taking the advantage of other person.
C) Emotional abuse-This is also recognised as the psychological abuse. As this type of abuse is
conducted by an individual in order to create mental pressure on other person. It includes verbal
abuse.
D) Neglect-This is the situation that include persistent failure to fulfil basic physical as well as
physiological development need of child. Neglect may occur during pregnancy as a result of
maternal substance ill-treatment. Neglect is defined as ongoing pattern of inadequate care and is
readily observed by person close contact with the child.

3.2 Child low self esteem as well as withdrawal behaviour, confidence level, high level
of stress, activities or action of child, depression , suit al attempts are the factors that
indicates that child is being physically abused or neglected.
3.3 Physical marks, scratches, injury on the body, aggressive behaviour, eating disorders
and suicidal thoughts are the important and major indicators that represents that child
has undergone or suffered Physical abuse.
3.4 Family violence is defined as aggressive behaviour within the home in which the two
persons uses abusive language for each other. This types of abuse can take place
between two partners that is between husband and wife, Brother sister etc. Family
violence involve all acts and abuses such as Physiological, physical etc. (Jones,

3.5 Physical symptoms, feeling of loneliness as well as isolation, poor performance at
workplace, difficulty in concentrating on work, suit al attempts are some of the
factors that an individual is suffering from the domestic violence.
3.6 Elder abuse is defined as a repeated action or lack of suitable act that occur in any
relationship where there is mutual trust and understanding between partners. This
type of abuse generally conducted by person when their expectations are not met. The
risk of this type of abuse may be highly suffered by older people. This type of abuse
may lead to serious harm or physical injury. It includes the discrimination in terms of
age, sex , gender. It includes the use of harmful words.
3.7 Inactive behaviour, personality disorders, cognitive as well as physical impairment,
alcohol related issues, suit al attempts are the main indicators that represents that old
person has suffered abuse.
3.8 I will include all the problems that are being faced by the people in the society. I will
also provide detail about the main causes of the problems and ultimately the solution
for the same. I will highlight the policies that are required to be changed that have
direct impact on the society. I will some plans or policies that can be implemented in
order to support child in development procedure and assist people in society from
being abused.

3.9 It has been identified from the given case study that the lady is suffering from the
domestic or family violence. This is the reason she is more concerned about hiding
information from her husband. It has been analysed from the given case study that
due to the family or domestic violence she has less focus on the development of her
child. As case manager I will provide her some techniques to resolve her family
issues and will suggest her that she should emphasize on fulfilling the development
need of her child. As she and her husband should understand that these types of
activities has adverse effect on child growth and behaviour (Marom and Lussier,
2018)
3.10
A) Mental health has direct relationship with care services. As the mental status or problem may
lead to informal care to the person who is suffering from severe disease or abuse. It has direct
effect on the relationship between service provider and the patient or client.
B) The case manager can identify issue by monitoring the various activity in case management
procedure and by communicating with internal as well as external stakeholders. The other
method is reviewing the information provided by service user.
C) In such situation, the case manager is required to prepare report that include the development
status and detail about physical as well as mental health of person. He is required to explain the
symptoms of mental illness to his clients (Modic and Damij, 2018)

In such situation I have to conducts all the acts in order to develop mutual trust with the victim
and gaining his loyalty. As by conducting these activities I will able to support him in resolving
his problems. I will continuously communicate with him as by doing this I can demonstrate that
I am more concerned about his behaviour and situation faced by Him. The strategy I will adopt is
that I will share my problems and experience with him.

The case manager should include all the necessary details about the client in the report and risk
that may harm him. It is required by manager to evaluate and highlight the possibility of risk in
various situations. Spotting signs of abuse or neglect, complaint of the client, the basis according
to which risk has been evaluated, detail of complete information provided by client etc.

As this factors can have direct impact on the treatment provided to the client and various advices
provided to them. As lack of proper documentation may also leads to medical errors and due to
these issues the service provider can not able to provide effective care or advice to patient.
3.14 A) It is required by case manager to identify the various activities and behaviour
of the victim. Case manager is required to develop understanding about the various
symptom that indicates that individual has suffered from the abuse. For instance in
the given case study, cognitive impairment is the symptom that indicate\s that
individual has suffered from the abuse (Jones, 2018)
B) It is required by case manager to collect essential information from client, and people
surrounding him. As this activity will assist them in recognisance the situation and identifying
the suitable solution. It is essential for them to consult will people and make discussion related to
the subject mater. As this activity will support them in analysing the alternative and innovative
solution to solve the problem or case (Rao, 2018)
