Question 1
Disability discrimination is when a person with disability is not treated fairly as compare person
without disability in the similar situation. Moreover, discrimination is done on the basis of sex,
age, sexual, religious and national origin. Although there are many challenges faced by disable
person such as secure employment as most of the disable person is being paid less than non-
disabled person (McQuillen and Terry, 2020). One of the major issues faced by them is they are
mistreated at their workplace and it was looked down upon as people who cannot be relied upon
because of their disability. In addition to this, there are many challenges that person has to go
through such as they are trapped in poverty as their parents have spent all the wealth on their
health. In many cases most of them do not have confidence to go up for the interview hence the
majority stay at home.
Disable people often face issues related to stigmatization while working in the office from peer
who fear that the disability might be transmitted. Although people have negative attitudes
towards disable person and due to that employees feel low self-esteem.
Question 2
There are two which promotes equality of opportunity for disabled people in order to ban
discrimination against disability. Along with this, it also provides with legal rights to people such
as Disability Discrimination Act 1995 and Special Education Needs and Disability order 2005.
Although disability discrimination law bans mistreatment against workers that are suffering
from any physical heath problem as well as in service. It is the duty of an employer and service
providers to make adjustments for people with disabilities and help them to overcome challenges
it has been facing in employment and using services (Temple, Kelaher and Williams, 2018). The
main activities a covered are employment including access to use of goods, facilities and services
as well as public health care and transport. Moreover, there are certain functions out of public
bodies like issuing licences. Although special education needs and disability stat that manager,
governors of educational institution and university have to make reasonable adjustment with
adults as well as disabilities that will contribute them in dealing with the challenges. Thus,

discrimination act bans unlawful activity against people that are suffering from physical health in
field of education.

Question 1
For the disable person my values towards them are caring and positive attitude so to not make
them feel that they are not capable to do things. Although I try to help them while working or
provide them with information related to free aid so that it can take advantage of that. Moreover,
I treat them with respect and dignity as well as display them with empathy, positivity and
patience towards them in order to promotes inclusion and openness (Kruse and et.al., 2018).
Along with this, while providing with services like social care I give them priority as compare to
other person who is not disable. Although special services are given to them so to make them
feel special and it do not feel socially isolated. Providing them employment services makes
them feel finically independent and improve their productivity and motivates them to live a
normal life.
Question 2
The person disability has a rights such as equal opportunity, protection of rights and full
participation. The disabled person has right to ensure equal opportunity to participate in the
nation building and the act provides for both the promotional aspects like education,
employment, vocational training, research and barrier free environment (Daley and et.al., 2018).
Education:
Every minor have an opportunity to freed education in special school till the age of 18
years.
It also have a right to appropriate public transportation and benefits which has been
given by government.
Although they have right to, scholarships and other free books, uniform materials.
Employment:
They have right to 3% vacancies in government job shall be booked for person
suffering from disability.
Minor quota is given to 1% each for the person low vison, hearing impairment,
suffering from blindness or locomotor disabilities and regulating employment.

Legal Aids and appliances shall be given to people suffering from physical and mental
health and it must include basic needs like house, special schools and business opportunity.
(Chen and McNamara, 2020).
Moreover, public building, aircraft, railway and ship should have well designed and easy
access to the disabled people. Although in all the public place there should be waiting rooms
and toilets wheel chair accessible.
