1. Importance of following terms that support children’s play and learning
National Quality standards (NQF): It is a benchmark for the quality of Early Childhood
Education and Care in Australia whose main focus is on safety, health and wellbeing of a child.
Also, its main focus is on to attain the outcomes of a children by high quality educational
programs. Moreover, with the help of this standard, families are also understanding of what
differentiate about a quality service (Bidwell and et.al., 2020). Therefore, this document also
assist to determine different quality area related to children so that parents can make decision
accordingly. Through this, children will also understand about their key areas that need to be
overcome.
Education and Care services National Regulations 2011: It provides laws foundation for NQF
and provide the services that is related to children improvement. Here, regulations 77 to 89 are
specifically prescribe in order to ensure about health, safety and wellbeing of a children so that
children can be educated (Protopsaltis and Baum, 2019). Along with this, all the education centre
are also liable to provide effective health and hygiene practices so that children can be easily
manage within their education environment.
Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF): It is a national framework which is make in order to

Pedagogical practices is the term which refers to that method where teachers teach in a
theory or in a practice. Also, it is the term that is formed by an educator’s teaching beliefs that
helps to make the child learn different things. Also, it can be stated that through this practices
individual can create support to the students and also build prior learning and create a
meaningful relationship as well (Santos, Figueiredo and Vieira, 2019). This assist to generate a

increase the brain development and this in turn help to get a children engage at their early age
so that they can interact with the world around them. That is why, parents should also allow
their children to play so that it assist to involve with other children and improve their brain
activity (Danniels and Pyle, 2018). Like, constructive play assist to children to work on large
as well as small muscle skills whereas expressive play help children to express the feeling as
