Report
AI Summary
This report presents a system analysis and design for the ChemExec case study. It covers the implementation and project management aspects, including deployment strategies such as phased conversion and a risk management analysis. The risk assessment identifies potential issues related to recorded orders, new order entries, and sensitive patient information, proposing countermeasures like VPNs and encryption. The report also references the assignment brief, which requested a design class diagram for specific use cases ('Enter New Order,' 'Create Case Manifest,' and 'Record Order Fulfillment'), though the diagram itself is not included in this excerpt. The report is based on the provided ChemExec case study, analyzing the business's needs and suggesting appropriate technical and procedural solutions. The report also includes a bibliography of relevant sources.

5. Implementation and project management
a. Deployment strategy
The ChemExec operates in many small health care delivery organizations and in the in
house pharmacy as well. The company is willing to improve the operational and functional
activities, while implementation these facilities the foe the healthcare and patient care. Different
deployment strategies are available and based on the type and feature of the project, executives
should choose the most suitable deployment strategy.
The process of system conversion is referred to as a changing process uses to make
conversion of an old system to a new one. Four different conversion methods such as parallel
conversion, direct conversion, phased conversion and pilot system are there, used to convert the
system from an older to new.
Parallel conversion: This approach allows the users to learn about new system. Under
this approach the users continuously operates the older system in an accustomed manner
however the new system is also being used by the users. This approach is very safe and error free
as well.
Phased conversion: the phased conversion method is a process where new system is
gradually introduced by the business organization. Whenever installations of new system become
difficult all at a time this approach is applicable. The reasons for these issues include late arrival,
lack of training among the users, overrunning cost etc.

Direct conversion: The process of direct conversion is direct change over method which
can successfully convert older system to a new system. Even if no fall back method is available
those times also this method forces the uses to develop the new system.
After analyzing ChemExec case scenario it can be said that in order to implement the
new system the deployment strategy that the company should follow is Phased conversion. It
includes split of new information system into small modules. Though, it needs lots of time for
the implementation of a full system.

b. Risk management analysis
In order to gain commercial revenue and competitive advantages project management
application and prcatices are very essential. ChemExec, a privately owned pharmacy business
has trading 40 years ago in Melbourne. The risk management plan identifies the impact,
likelihood and overall priority of the risks. Based on the priority and impact the project manager
of ChemExec should implement accurate asset management program at the project initiation and

the below section:
