Details of incident:
Tom punched Jennifer in the face, and he persistently tells her off to her room. Tom aggressively
shouts at Jennifer’s mumtoo, further scaring her.
When Jennifer does not want togo to her room immediately, Tom lockedher out of the house for
hours at night. He also threatens to lock her in the cupboard,and this has created state discomfort
and anxiety to Jennifer.

department of child protection takes the initiative to support them. The department also

documents on the case confidentially. The protection of victims is vital as it ensures the
dignity of the victimis maintained.
