INTRODUCTION
Child abuse is form of maltreatment by an adult to the child that seemed to be ferocious
or threatening for the child progressions or development. It mainly come about when child
experiences harm or neglection by others. The report covers indicators of harm, abuse or
neglection explicate to junior staff member and also child response while incorporating
legislations.
MAIN BODY
1. Child abuse is neglection cognisance by child either in from of physical, sexual or the
emotional abuse. Indicators are alert or warning signs after which enhance attention by the junior
staff need to be taken in care setting. Indicators of abuse in child are they either feel afraid to go
home or easily get frightened by parents easily. Child abuse is also observe when they become
withdrawn from family or gatherings. Junior staff member need to be incorporate the mandatory
reporting to protect the child from further abuse. They also need to protect the rights of the child
to ensure well-being of child which will progress their development in optimistic manner. Junior
staff should also ensure that confidential of violence or abuse experience by child need to be
maintained to prevent the occurrence of misconduct by others to child (Baker and et. al., 2021).
2. When child reveals the abuse under children act 2008, the staff should ensure that child
concern are being listen in patient manner about the actions child are addressing. Staff shouldn't
express their views or judgments before concern is complete and provide them comfort that will
hep them to share their feelings effectively. Reassure them that its no their fault and
acknowledge them for their action to share. Guide children with their rights and reporting is done
after having in-depth communication with child (Briggs, 2020).
3. Reporting procedure include details of child, their identification of harm and reason of
reporting. It also include current child whereabouts, cultural beliefs or family background. While
providing the duty of care, they should ensure that high quality of care must be provided by
empowering the individuals or child to raise the trouble or concern they are going through with.
When providing referral process, identification fo the need to be done primarily and junior staff
member should directly communicate with referral provider. The operation to gather information
technique, the staff need to identify the issue while planning approach. They must ensure thqat
effective communication must occur to ensure that effective data must be interpret. To ensure
effective communication they must implement active listening, speak in low pitch in clear

manner while avoiding in between interruption. Collaboration with other child care agency are
done to ensure child development in progressive manner (Woodman and et. al., 2018).
CONCLUSION
From the above report the indicators of the child abuse in children or individuals are
being concluded. Report covers the various action that are need to be taken when providing them
duty of care, reporting or referral process. The report also covers response action when child
address abuse.
