Part 1. Summary of the facility
The childcare finder organization an education and care service in Australia provides a
foundation for children to develop both socially and educationally in the protected and safe
environment (Child Care Finder, Australia, 2019). The organization gets assistance from
Australian government by giving programs and subsidies to help with cost of the childcare. The
organization works with the principle of overall development of children, which involves both
physically and mentally. The design of the facility service is pleasing and attractive for the
children, which give good ambience for their development. The facility support the learning and
growth of the children by their safe design and structure. The site is bounded and there is
availability of off-streets access for the vehicles with objective for safe drop and pick up of the
children. The facility also have taxi and wheel chair assess for the children. It is having large and
separate space for the learning and playing for the children. The learning space is colourful and
decorated with informative posters, which help the children to visualize and enhance their
learning. The playing space is secured as separate staff is provided to help the children.
Additionally, the playing tools are also safe which does not cause any physically harm and
injury. The design are family and eco-friendly which gives best natural environment for the
children.
The nutritional requirement for the children and babies are also been given by the
childcare facilities. They have their own professional dietician, which plan a balance diet with all
the essential nutrients for the children. The dietician give the plan according to the health of the
children. Hence, in the care facilities the nutritional requirement for the children are met. The
chef hired are professional, which cook hygiene food.

The childcare facility has temperature-controlled mechanism, which maintains the room
temperature. To ensure it, the facility has installed equipment, which monitor the change in
outside temperature and adjust it accordingly. It is evident that children should get education on
the hygiene procedure, as it is the step towards overall development of the child. The facility has
staffs, which give live demonstration of the maintenance of hygiene by undertaking activities
related to health. According to the Alper et al. (2017) it is evident that visualization and practical
experience given to children help in faster learning and adapting to the healthy practice.
The care provider also give education about the safety issues and way to manage it. They
make use of practical activity concerning the safety tips and include it in the practice. The
childcare facility have health care professional, which enforce the safety of the children. They
have provision of first aid and emergency help. In the child care facility there is always a nurse
present in assistance of children in case of emergency. It takes care of the health of the children,
as they regard it as priority for overall development of children.
For any child care facility is it important for the administration to take care of the
ensuring whether the children are able to understand the teaching of the staff’s member (Brilli,
Del Boca and Pronzato, 2016) Hence, step must be taken by the facilities by use of teach-back
method (Morony et al. 2018).
For the children there is need of good physical health, which can be accomplished by the
mean of physical exercise and activity (Britto et al. 2017). Physical trainer is present in the care
facility, which teach children and give training of physical exercise. The activity employed are of
easy and does not require huge strength. To encourage them to do physical exercise, the need of
the exercise is communicated to the children by the mean of a live drama and skid. Further,
effective teaching is given to them by teacher include physical exercise in their life.

Children are encouraged to learn about the new things. They are taken for educational
trips in monthly basis and make them absorb new thing about the environments and surrounding.
They are encourage by involving them in practical and discovery of world activity. It help them
to increase their thinking and analysing capabilities. They are also motivated to share about their
feelings and ideas.
In order to encourage the children to participate in preparation of food, the care facility
involves the children in food preparation and give them live demonstration with safety
guidelines. The children are made to know about the vegetable and fruits and its nutritional
values. They are motivated by taking their help in washing fruits and vegetable and asking about
the favourite food and include those cooking activities.
It is important for every childcare facilities to meet the emotional need of the children. It
is the duty of the facilities to encounter it with love and care (Lin and Magnuson 2018). The
emotional requirement of the children are provided by communicating with them with respect
and humble way about their feeling and views and trying to acknowledging it. The staff members
spend amble amount of time with them and engaging them in playing and learning activity.
Through such way they are their emotional need are met in the facilities.
The temper tantrums and unacceptable behaviour need to be modified by the childcare
facility. The staffs give positive response to the children who are showing such behaviour and
they are not responded in rudely manner. They are taught regarding the healthy behaviours, and
given rewards for their good performance. They offered choices for eating, playing and learning.
It helps in calming the children and making them relax.

Children and parents are made comfortable about by communicating them about the
facilities and security that is provided to the children by the care centre. They are given
comprehensive explanation about the care in written format. The children are motivated to
engage with other children, in order to make them conformable.
Hence, the care plan of the childcare facility, which involves the above, discussed
consideration help in overall development and healthy growth of the children.
The facility plan
The total area of the facility design will be 60ft×50ft. There will be 35sqaure feet of
indoor activity space for each child and 75sqaure feet of outdoor space for active gross motor
play. The classroom and restroom will be 150 square feet and 100 square feet, respectively. The
total number of classroom will be 10 with one window of 10ft× 10ft each. The facility will also
include parking area and rooms for the storage and first aid. Total number of toilets for kids will
be 5 and for staffs will be 4. The dimension for toilet will be 17 square feet.
Part 2.
As I am working in the education and care service, it is my responsibility to make the
parents and children comfortable with the service, which we provide. I will narrate her the
motive of the service is overall growth of the children and start with the security system of the
service. I will explain about the security structure of the facilities, which will give the parents a
relaxing mood. I will tell her about the design of the facilities which is fully secured for a
children. It is properly fenced and give all the needy facilities to the children by keeping the
choice and requirement into consideration. Different age group of children have different
classrooms. The room are separated each having enough space for the children. The room are

well ventilated and equipped with toys according to the age of the children. I will inform her the
daily routine of the service and clarify that we provide healthy breakfast at 8.00am, after
relaxation period of one hour, there is two-hour learning activities where in alternate day we
include children in live activity where they get chance to explore new things. Rest of the day we
offer teaching of the daily life and about the environment and surroundings. The total time for
curriculum activities will for 4 hours and rest time of 1 hours after 2 hours of learning . We offer
lunch at 1.00PM according to the best diet for the children. We also have specific sleep time for
the children, which is given after the lunchtime. The sleep time for the children will be for 1.5
hours and then we start another hour for learning. In addition to it, I will inform that we have our
own dietician and professional chef. Dietician plan the nutrient balanced diet for the children,
and for that at the time of admission, we assess the weight, height and allergic history of the
children and make a record of it. As per the BMI of the children, we plan a balanced diet, which
focus to give essential nutrient to them. After lunch, we then involve children in indoor and
outdoor activity. The indoor and outdoor game are played in alternate days. For playing of the
children, we have large space with trained staffs, which assist them in activities. The games,
which we offer, are safe and attention is paid that no one will be physical harm. However, for the
emergency situation, we always have a professional nurse who can give first aid to the children
in case of emergency. I will inform her about the hygiene practice we follow. We encourage the
children to wash their hand, stay healthy, and teach good habits by providing them demonstration
by the mean of drama or skid. We assist the children in toileting and train them for toilet sitting.
We also make children learn about the hygiene maintenance. I will ensure her that her daughter
will be given full care and is fully secured in the service.

Regarding the dinner, we provide light food, which will help in easy digestion of the
food. We give a healthy drink to every children. We involve the children in meal and food
preparation by asking their choice of food and making for them. We take the children in garden
and allow them to self-explore new things under the supervision of the staffs. In case when they
become emotional and upset, they are handled with care and love. We try to engage their mind in
interesting activities and offer their favourite things. Therefore, as children are given all the
facilities and when they will involve with other children, they can easily accommodate in the
childcare facilities.
