INTRODUCTION
Child care can give the positive influence on children's development process. It gives
valuable education and social experiences to children's. Present report will help to know more
about child care services such as it will be explaining action that must be taken by parents or
carer to protect child from harm, abuse or neglect. Theories that influences child development or
strategies to overcome from integrated barriers.

4.1 Describing the action plan or policies procedures to reduce child negligence, abuse and harm
UK considered that child abuse is unacceptable in any circumstances and takes its duty of
care seriously and will aim at all times to provide the safest possible programs to children.
Safeguarding policy
This is the first action should person take when they observed any harmful situation near
the baby. Safeguarding is the first action plan for child protection that relates to the action taken
to promote the welfare of children from harm (Brendtro, 2017). This term also taking procedure

to protect children from maltreatment (Safeguarding children and young people. 2018). It also
helps to preventing impairment of children health or development.
Child Protection procedures
This is the another action plan taken by an individual or group in order to protest the
child abuse or any violence. Emergency protection order (EPO) is an order from the court that
allows the child to be removed from home if they feel any imminent danger (Havnes and
Mogstad, 2015).
Police powers of protection
This is the another significant action that people could adapt to protect child from
harmful substance. For example: If in hospital people observed that there some issue with child
or from any part they get harm from some things. So that, Police helps and give protection to
child without references to a court only in the emergency situations where a delay in an EPO
may put a child risk. Police can help to take strict action for protecting Nursing babies life.
Strategy discussions and meetings
Nursing staff can also arrange meeting with seniors in order to keep up into the activities
which is going wrong. There are concerns that a child may be at risk of some significance harm.
CSC will talk to partner agencies about the child. CSC can investigate the procedure or plan.

Cognitive theory
Piaget's (1936) theory of cognitive development explains that how a child constructs a

There are so many barriers involved for a child such as assessment risk, this risk involved
in a family, social care staff may fall back on moral judgements. There are so many other
barriers involved such as uncertainty and ignorance. Besides, other barriers are lack of follow up
on new hire paperwork and complaints. In order to come over from this barrier. Child care
instructor needs to adopt effective HR training, cleared stated CP policies in interview.

proper protection to child.
Rooted in child development : Workers or parents should needs to understand child
from depth which is based on child behaviour nature etc. For that, staff members needs to
observe, listen with child to make them comfortable with the environment.
Holistic in Approach : this principle defines that workers must be know about child
