Reflection
The critical assimilation of knowledge is an important factor. Reception of knowledge in a classroom like a setup and its
application in life are two important aspects of education. While addressing the educational goals, an individual should keep in
mind that during this particular age group a child gains knowledge at two ends. First, he learns some valuable lessons with the
help of observation from the society where he is a living and second set of knowledge is the knowledge that a teacher wants to
share with him or her. We can also term it as the knowledge gained in the real world and the knowledge gained in the
classroom (www.lc.gcumedia.com).
Ideally, a teacher should act as a bridge between the two aspects of the knowledge. They should use the interest areas of the
kids as a pillar, the second pillar should be of setting the right kind of milestones. Right kind of milestones can help a teacher
in figuring out the growth of the students and help him in understanding their educational needs better. While acting as a
teacher it is very important to device a few strategies that can help me in making sure the right kind of engagement of a kid
during the various stages of the learning curve (www.fod.infobase.com). My first aim will be to make sure that the kid is

learning the entire lesson by heart and second he is able to connect it with the real world or find an application of the
classroom knowledge in the real world.
