1.1 The children who reside in utter poverty undergo multiple issues that can be scrutinized
into different aspects of social structure. The children who are inflicted by poverty might
have deteriorating health condition because of lack of money to have consulted good
physician and to have nutritious food at the right time. It is not always about the physical
health, the children might go through certain mental problems as well. Poverty generates
the atmosphere of dissatisfaction, frustration and anger. Therefore, from the lap of
deprivation many children are enforced to face psychological issues.
The children must have to go through low self esteem and a very diminishing sense of
comfort and security. The children have this insecurity of being unsafe and vulnerable all
the time and they feel exposed to the society mostly (Pullar et al 2018). The students due
to their poor financial status are mostly secluded by other students leading to social
deprivation and loneliness. Their performances in the school worsen making difficult to
find job for them in future.
1.2 The children who are suffering from poor economic condition must face some issues that
are associated with both mental and physical health. The poor financial condition hinder
the parents of affording books and new clothes therefore, the children cannot be sent to
good schools even though they deserve to get education of the same level a rich kid is
receiving. When the parents are unemployed or have very low income they cannot afford
the children to acquire knowledge in different fields leading them to restrict them in an
isolated corner. It is also true that the children are kept away from participating different
social; activities like taking part in different sports and other activities. This not only
affects the development of their emotional aspect but also restrain them from opening up
(Spence, and Rapee 2016).

Since the children are not exposed to many cultural assimilations, their knowledge is also
very restricted and limited that eventually lessens the chance of their social acceptance.
When the children go through poverty their social and cultural exposures are also
crippled.
1.3 The children are not always aware of what they do because most of the time they are
driven by what they see others doing. They have the tendency of hiding things from their
guardians. They act aggressively when their demands are not fulfilled. They even think
that nobody understands what could be better for him.
Personal choices at a tender age can turn out to be very crucial because a good choice and
a bad choice can change the life upside down. Therefore before stepping into something
new, one should be very careful. As shown by the Article 13, protecting the rights of a
child, every child should be given the opportunity to be heard and their decisions to be
valued (Rapp et al., 2017). In the early education process a child should be accompanied
by a professional adult and the parents so that the child is inclined to make the right
choice that would be beneficial for the child.
Learning outcome 2
2.1 Residential childcare services aim to look at certain positive factors that can be
achieved through taking good care of the children. Certain basic things that can be
expected from the entire course are the generous health of the child, safety, the child’s
enjoyment through activity, leading the child to contribute into something with positivity
and heading the child to understand the worth of economic independence (Frost, and
Mills, 2019).
The service looks forward to provide the child everything he needs so that he can stay
healthy and happy both physically and mentally. It also looks after the necessary things to

be avoided from the children like drinking and smoking. It teaches how the children can
protect them and keep them safe. It certainly evaluates after a regular interval whether the

development. It also helps them to understand their true potential so that they can choose
their professions accordingly.
2.2 The active and enthusiastic participation of the children in making decisions can
affect their lives can be justified by what exactly the family of the children is looking
forward to. These cases are very sensitive therefore the opinions of the children should be
taken into consideration and they should be paid attention to as well. Communication is
very necessary at this stage because that helps the parents to identify the problem that the
child is going through. The children should be encouraged to take decisions in different
parts like in clay modeling class or in putting color inside the edge (Bouma et al., 2018).
It not only develops the self esteem and confidence but also helps to understand their true
potential. They are able to recognize them with clear perception from childhood. The
children are given to choose an activity to be performed at the end of the weak helps in
knowing the complexity of their mind better.
2.3 It is important for the service provider to communicate and consult different sorts of
services to the children so that they can choose accordingly and upgrade their level of
performance. Parents should be entirely informed and conveyed if there is any change of
plan because that is the only way to gain the confidence and trust of the children and the
family. Working together by sharing the trust and the flexibility make the parents
understand the children better. The job of the designing service is to make the children
and the family aware of the other services available that can be helpful in keeping the
record of the children’s activities.

2.5 Social pedagogy is collection of innovative ideas that concentrates on broader aspect
of the development of children. The children are encouraged to interact with more
number of people in order to cut down the possibility of anxiety amidst a crowd. The
children’s rights are protected through the establishment and exercise of the social
pedagogy. Social pedagogy includes the sphere of education along with care that also
incorporates taking care of the family to make them perceive the value of importance of
family and surroundings in life. This involves the implementation of human welfare that
can be assisted through education practice (Timonen-Kallio, and Hämäläinen, 2019). The
training is performed in a diverse level so that all the children feel involved and their

mean having the identical expectation from every child. The intensity of expectation
depends on the potential of every child. The improvement in academic field and welfare
and safety of the children depends on how much they expect to shine in a particular
parameter. If the children are encouraged of achieving something extraordinary then they
also feel motivated that they can do it (McDonald et al., 2016). It is easy to make the
children at their tender age that they can certainly gain what they want with immense
passion and hard work. This will help in shaping their self-confidence and self-reliance.

3.1 Disabilities for its certain reasons have some obvious effects on the physical and
mental development of children. Although there is a chance of huge effect on the children
yet it has to be understood that the effect varies from child to child depending on the
nature and characteristics of the disability they have. In these cases, communication plays
a huge part to make the children understand their true worth. Through the establishment
of transparent interactive sessions the children with speaking difficulty can be helped to
speak up quickly (Tzuriel, Schorr-Edelsztein, and Bauminger-Zvieli, 2019). The sooner

they will start communicating, the sooner they will be able to get rid of their problems.
Repetitive practices of can help the children who have problems with sight and additional
efforts must be put on the children with difficulty in severe cognitive cases. They become

so that they do not feel secluded and can think them to be the part of the society as much
as a normal child.
3.2 It is important to promote positive attitude towards disability because that helps in
saving the children with disability from getting secluded by the society. In order to
encourage a disable child understanding the skill of that individual child and providing a
bond depending on that is important. The child should get the vibe that he is not special
or different rather he should be made understood that he is capable of doing things like
other do. In this way he will feel welcomed in the society. This is the job of the parents
and the service providers to motivate the young people to show what field they should
choose to prosper in. That positivity will help them recognizing their original selves.
When a child with disability is encouraged to make him feel he is as spontaneous and
equal as others he feels superior (Islam et al., 2019). When disable children are positively
boosted they do not suffer from getting cornered and getting bullied by other children
that eventually save them from provocative suicidal thoughts.
3.3 The social model of disability is a civil approach to the phenomenon. The objective of
the model is to shape the modern life in a way so that all the disable people can be
involved equally in the society without feeling excluded by the society itself. The model
precisely criticizes the crippled contribution of the society to make the disable children
more impaired both mentally and physically (Haegele, and Hodge, 2016). Certain
prejudices and the processes of categorizing and ignoring them can completely cut them

parents are given opportunities to explore multiple experiences that other parents with
disable children go through. Care support groups are always there to take care of the
children while special education providers help the children to learn new things applying
some special techniques. The children who are not able to attend school have opportunity
of home-schooling (Hawkridge, Vincent, and Hales, 2018). There is no way a disable
child should stop believing in himself sue to the availability of different supports.
