C7 Workplace Assessments: Creative Experiences & Child Development

This assignment encompasses two workplace assessments focused on early childhood education. The first assessment involves planning and implementing four creative experiences, including music and movement, construction, visual arts, and dramatic play, detailing materials, educator roles, and links to the EYLF outcomes. The second assessment requires observing and documenting the development of three children, followed by planning experiences to support their physical, social/emotional, cognitive, and communication development. Title: Music and movement
Overview: I will use drum of plastic and wooden containers and encourage children to
bang on them using spoons. 4-5 children will be involved and it will be
implemented in a room.

Environment: It will be ensures that all materials are safe and there is no sharp objects
that leads to cut or injuries for children.

Title: Construction

Overview: I will use scissors, bolts and hammers to create and constructs blocks of
different shapes and stick different papers with different textures. The
activity will be done with group of 8 children

The purpose is to promote cognitive development by encouraging children
to think about different shapes

resources:
Papers, glues, scissors, hammers, wooden materials and screw
Time and location: 10 am in the play area

strategies:
The strategy is to develop and constructs object of different shapes and
help children learn about them

Once children identify difference between each objects through their
shape, it will promote self-esteem
Environment: The activities will be completed in strict supervision so that not cuts or
injuries occur during creating the blocks

Title: Visual arts

Overview: The purpose is to develop creative skill of skill by providing support to
make a binocular with cardboard. The leaves will be used to decorate the
cardboard and binoculars will be made with paper towel roll

work and enhance their experience with creative art

Fallen leaves, cardboard, paint, paper rolls, scissors and glue
Time and location: 10 am in the creative room

create binocular

By coordinating with educators, children can get introduced to different art
forms and develop their artistic skills

Overview: I will use outdoor space to set up camping for children. Different objects
like timber will be used to pretend the fire and pots and spoons will be
used to pretend cooking

Time and location: Outdoor area in the evening around 6 pm

By encouraging children to set fire and arrange foods, they will learn ways
to set a table during camps
Environment: Boundaries will be set up so that children do move ahead of the area and
all stones in the area will be removed.
