INTRODUCTION
Children and young people development is an important thing which is there in life and
to make it in proper way there are different steps which should be taken for proper development.
In this report there is introduction about expected pattern of children and their development form
birth to 19 years of age where it includes physical development, communication and intellectual
development, social, emotional and behavioural development, there is also description of kinds
of influences along with this there is also introduced about identification of transitions
experienced with examples are there (Daly, 2020).
TASK 1
Describing the expected pattern of children along with young people development from birth to
19 years
Growth and development is one of the most important part of life. In context to growth
and development in children and young people can be seen easily. Development refers to gaining
of skills which is there in the child life. There are different type of development which are there
in the life either in children or young people. In this, there are different growth and development
in children and young people are there, in which some of main development can be seen in their
physical development along with communication and intellectual development, social, emotional
and behavioural development. Such development is discussed further.
Physical development- in this type of development there is increase in the skill of body
which includes fine motor development like hands along with fingers, gross motor development
like arms and legs (Ronen, 2016).
Communication development- This one give the understanding of learning that how to
communicate with family, friends and with others.
Intellectual development- This one refers to the learning the skills of memory,
concentration and understanding etc.
Social and emotional development- This development refers to the identity and self
image of child. In this there are different feeling like relationship, feelings for others, and
different social skills are there which are for living in society.
Behavioural development- This one gives the ability to how to act and react towards
any situation which shows the behaviour of person.

Moreover, there are different development at same time which can be seen in long term
which is there can observed by anyone (Bishop and et. al., 2017).
There are different stages and sequences of development which are there described further.
Infancy- from birth to one year
early years- one to three years
childhood- four to seven years
puberty- eight to twelve years
adolescence- thirteen to nineteen years
Infancy- in infants there can be seen in them which are as like they are able to see faces,
feel the gasp of object which are there on their palm, able to suck along with swallow, able to
recognise their mothers voice or smell, able to cry when they feel hunger or pain etc.
Early years- in Early years there can seen in the development in children which is like
they are able to move physically which can be either crawling or small number walking alone,
able to feed themselves and feed too, able to identify when they are left with someone they don't
know which is by crying.
Childhood- in this age they are able to run, climb, able to use toilet alone, enjoy with
copying adults etc.
Puberty- in this, able to learn rules, dress themselves, worry about like and dislike, able
to enjoy conversation etc.
Adolescence- this is the stage when they are in teenage and able to develop feeling for
someone with opposite sex, different physical and hormonal changes within body, have mood
swings, could have level of skill which can develop other skills (Bluth, 2017).
Different aspect which affects one another
When one child playing with ball and don't give that ball to other child then other child
get angry one first one which shows the aggressiveness. Like this when child A want to do any
work but due to not having proper understanding of that work, he is not able to do it then he can
get frustrated which is also a feeling. Such are different aspect which are there can be seen and
able to affect one another.

Kind of influences which effect children and young people's development with examples
Background
Parents and families are one of most important part of any child or young peoples
development. There are different factors which are there able to affect the development which is
there in background like bereavement, parent introducing new partner, family breakup etc.
Poverty which is one of main cause for impact the child development. In this, parent tries their
best to meet the requirement which is there needed to live better life but due to not getting this
they are not able to get rid of it and thus, there are different change in the physical and mental
development can be seen in children. Family breakup is also responsible to create stress for child
which is also able to influence child's development. This makes child very upset, which also can
make them quite and ignoring their meal. In school when they get such family situation can help
the child with better treatment (Peng, 2016).
Health
When any child who suffers from nay of the physical disability or with other illness
which may able to impact the development opportunities. For example when there is any
children who is mentally disabled then there is highly chances that he in not able to participate in
those activities which are going to held. There are different medical condition which are there
can influence the child development which includes the insufficient sleep which is essential for
children to their cognitive development. This make them able to learn new things and help in to
concentrate. Less in sleep may cause frustration, anger or many other emotions.
Environment
There are different environment which are exposed to the pupil of any child can have the
ability to influence the development of them. Any of the changes like family breakup or
introduction to new family member or to introduce with mothers new partner and change the
house from one location to other location. Such are some of the factors which are there
responsible to change in environment. This can have the effect socially or physically. There is
need to care about that which is there able to change in pupils behaviour which can impact the
environment of child behaviour (Agostoni, and et. al., 2017).

Importance of recognising along with responding to concern which is about children along with
young people's development
There is highly need to recognise and respond to concern which is there for development
of children and young people development. Sooner the issue are raised sooner they can be
eliminated. One the problem is find out the is need to have better treatment which is either
medically or emotionally. This is able to help in proper development otherwise there is chance of
getting negative impact. Language and coordination are some more important concern which
should be there in proper way to help in proper development of children and young people.
TASK 3
Identification of transitions experienced by most children and young people
Starting of new school- this is able to make child or young people to nervous because
they are getting to new place where they will meet new people and make new friends which
make them feel nervous. This also make them shy or dismissive.
Moving away- This could make child or young people away from their favourite place
and things which they don't' want to leave. This is able to make them anxious.
Identification of transition which only some children and young people experienced
Diagnosis of any disability- This can make them feel different which is due to different
diagnosis process. There can also make them act unusual like dismissive.
New sibling- This may feel them jealous which is because all the attention which was
earlier given to him has been diverted and this feelings make them angry and jealous, this may
also lead to change in behaviour which can become dismissive (Danese and Dubicka, 2020)..
How transition may impact children and young people behaviour and their development
There are different transition which are there in children and young people life which is
further may not able to balance all the transition and thus, there is high change in their emotional
and behavioural changes. This can be emotional connected with personal experience. For
example divorce of parent, moving to new place, moving of their friends etc. There is high
change in moving from nursery to school and school to college and many more. Such that there
may be chance of impact children and young people which is there in development.

From the above discussion, it can be concluded that there are different factors which are
there can have the impact on development of children and young people. There are different
stages of life where there are different development. Int this report there is discussion about
different development which is there in communication, intellectual, physical and social
development. In this, different timeline is introduced and along with this there is also discussion
about kinds of influences which can effect the development along with this there is also
discussion about different transition which are there experienced by children and young people.
