Topic: child labor
The issue of denying or exploiting children have caused potential harm to children which include
mental and physical effects. In this post, it is going to make use of various sources to illustrate
the issue of child labor. The following are the sources.
i. Scholarly articles
Child labor is exploiting children in opportunities that are dangerous to their physical,
moral, mental and social lives (Shendell, Derek, et al, 88). There are many ways that
people define child labor. The definition in some instances is based on the nation
where the individual comes from. When talking about child labor, one might ask
which type of work to children is termed as child labor. The response is that the work
given to children should be proportional to their age. Anything that is above the
children status is termed as child labor (Sturrock, Sarah, and Matthew Hodes, 90).
ii. News sources
Child labor can be termed as any activity which hinders the children from enjoying
their childhood. Child labor forces children to commit to various activities that
expose to mental, social and physical harm. However, every nation has rules that
protect children. Anybody that goes against the rules is subjected to the law (The
Times of India, Child Labor,).
iii. Internet sources
When child labor increased in the world several nations came up with various laws to
com children exploitations. The children who have undergone a series of child labor have

had mental problems and even the United Nations have created some laws to protect the
children (New York Times article by Jack Heally, 5 years Old work machinery).
iv. Non-traditional talk
In this part, the argument is based on the TEDx session that talked about child labor. It
argues that many members of the society have been ignorant. Some people assign work
to children thinking that they are training the children. From the description of child
labor, the activity is torturing the child (TEDX talk on child labor).
