ASSESSMENT-1 (PART-A)
The academics and the coursework that is undertaken at the University level has helped
me in my overall development and building some necessary characteristic traits in the
personality that has built me into an effective university student. One of the most significant
development that I have experienced in myself is related to the communication skills that are
acquired helping me to easily interact and held conversations with the people who are known or
not known to me. The good communication is the essential requirement in today's time and also
to enter the corporate world where the effective relations, proper transferring of the message and
developing understanding of the guidance that is provided by the supervisors.
Another quality that I have learnt over my academic journey is working in teams.
Through participating in the various events in the university and also undertaking the projects in
teams I have built the ability to work in teams (Sweet and Broadbent, 2017). The essential needs
of working in team are cooperation, coordination, efficient lines of communication, distribution
of the roles, equitably allocating the scarce resources and working to achieve the common team
objectives. With the help of building effective relations and avoiding unnecessary conflicts the
team can execute the work successfully and fulfil their motives was the learning that is to be
practised throughout my life in all aspects of life.
Over the time I have been able to discover the leader in me that can influence the crowd
and convince or motivate them to proceed with the common goal and its achievement. I have
developed the qualities like taking initiatives, solving the problems, motivating others for the
better performance and to build my team whose efforts are coordinated in the same direction.
Some say the leadership traits are inborn and cannot be developed but I have experienced that it
can be enhanced by effective guidance and learning that are derived at the University (Alzobiani,
2020). Gradually an individual can grow in terms of leadership until enough capable to guide and
lead others in the business.
I have developed the skills and capabilities to be optimistic in life and to face all the
difficulties and obstacles that come by our way with the positive attitude such that the problem
gets resolved. I have built the efficiency in me to meet all the challenges that are faced and to
come out of it with the flying colours. This has further built the leadership qualities in me as a
leader never escapes but positively motivates the others to contribute in the achievement of the
objectives.

Another major change that I have experienced with the University learnings is to be
disciplined and follow the ethical code of conduct (Yan and et.al., 2019). This has helped me
with living a respectful life following all the laws and contributing for the better to the
surrounding society. It has helped me to be receptive to the knowledge and learnings that are
there and grow into a better person everyday. All these qualities has made be an effective
university student.
ASSESSMENT- 2 (PART- B)
The banning of all forms of the child labour in the society is the need of the hour as
currently every 1 child among the group of ten is being exploited to this problem. they are not
able to enjoy the schooling and the basic educational requirements that are necessary for the
personal growth and development of the children. It can also be observed that the size and the
complexities of the global supply chain has increased to a level where it is out of the
governmental controls and are not caught facing the lawful legislations. The source and origin of
these child labour practices are not known, so the labour laws, child labour laws, health and
safety laws etc. that are framed for the benefit of the children are not able to be enforceable in the
society. The human trafficking that is being conducted in the society these days are not
governed by government and the various organizations that are being set up to ensure the welfare
of the society.
The practices of the child labour are distorting the lives in the various manner like
snatching away the right to education andright to freedom of choice However instead are forcing
the individuals over becoming the slaves working in the poor conditions causing hazardous
effects on their health and safety (Ibrahim and et.al., 2019). This is overall deteriorating the
physical, mental, social and the emotional capacity and quotient of the young lives who are the
future of the country and can contribute to its economic development in the future. Sometimes
working as a child they are being exposed to many hazardous chemicals, malnutrition, child
abuse and exhaustion. They are being separated from their families, being made slaves, left on
the streets to fend their livelihood and also the economic benefits that are gained by them is not
extended to them. The vulnerability to which the children of the society are exposed is crucial
and is posing the bad effects to their livelihoods and also due to these long working hours and
bad conditions their upbringing is also affected. This causes the serious concerns for the rising
criminal rates in the country.

The difference between the hazardous and non-hazardous forms of the child labour gets
restricted up-to the laws and legislations that are established, but in the real life are never being
enacted or enforced. Most of the times the middlemen or the businessman who is buying the
goods is not aware of who has supplied it. Moreover, the complex procedure of the supply chain
and also due to the corruption that is existing in the system these informations are not released.
In this case it becomes very difficult for the government to learn that where all the laws are being
violated (Dammert and et.al., 2018). If the control is poor, and they are not able to differentiate
as to which form of child labour is hazardous for the mental and physical growth of the child
then the selective banning is not advisable nor will be successfully enforced in the country.
On the contrary, it can be believed that there is a significant difference in the work that
the children are made to do and the child labour that they are exposed to these days in the society
(Child Slavery, Child Labour, Hazardous Work—What’s the Difference? 2021). The government
of the country must be restrained from banning all forms of the child labour rather they can focus
on removing the hazardous forms that are impacting the social, mental, physical and emotional
well-being of the children. The children can work if they are not enslaved, provided with the
decent working conditions, not imposing any risk to the health and safety of the individual.
It can be regarded that in order to govern and ensure the socio-economic development of
the country and the community within it, a non-hazardous child labour should be permitted under
the governance of the lawful organizations. There is widespread range of poverty, lack of access
to the basic amenities of life, lack of source of income for the family and lack of proper
education of the children in some backward and rural regions of the country. Due to the high
disparity of the income these individuals do not get the basic requirements to maintain the
standard of living of an individual (Bai and Wang, 2020). In order to get this problem solved and
to ensure that there is significant growth of this part of the society the child labour needs to be
permitted to some extent which is not causing any loss to the well-being of the children in the
society.
Child labour is better than living in poverty
The non-hazardous or the decent jobs and work that are done by the children to earn
livelihood for their families is any-day better than living in the vicious circle of poverty. It is one
of the ways that can improve the standards of living and wipe off the range that is their in the
society by equalizing all the human. These children for some poor families are the source of

income, a ray of hope and a way to improve the existing condition of life. This cannot be denied
by the government unless they provide the alternate solution for the same to these families. The
challenge is to abolish the hazardous form of child labour and maintain the forms which are
growing the personality of the children into a better individual without causing any of the
negative impacts on their lives.
Examples of child labour helping in the escape from the poverty
Child labour has helped in the escape of poverty and reviving the deprived sections of the
society in the various ways. It has helped them have the healthy two times meal, can afford the
basic amenities of life, also the child who is working can earn to provide schooling and
education to the other siblings who can improve the overall standards of the family. The child
who has adopted child labour can gradually develop the skills that can be taken forward for the
better qualified job.
CONCLUSION
It can be summarized from the above project that the banning of all the forms of child
labour is not the solution rather they can focus on the selective banning and abolishing the
hazardous forms of work that are being made by the children to do. As the some forms of the
child labour help the families to get out of the vicious circle of poverty and improvise their
standards of living. There needs to be strict governance in the child labour activities and the
permissible activities must be defined which improve their current state and also don't harm their
self.
RECOMMENDATION
The abolishment of the hazardous child labour can be undertaken by forming some
welfare organizations, strict laws and legislations, committee's to govern and the
punishments for those who violate the same.
The supply chains are to be made transparent so that information is being disclosed at all
times before the government (Zhao, Wang and Zhao, 2021).
Also, the awareness among the families can be developed so that they do not become the
victim of these situations and the exploitations.
Another major actions could be that all the works must be categorized based on which
form of the labour is hazardous and shall hamper the life and which is not.
