INTRODUCTION
Child labour is the activity in which children below the employable age are being forced
to work in industries and on raw environment at minimum or very low wages with high physical
work. Evaluation of child labour and its significance is being done in this report and with that
analysis of pros and cons which are being associated with the child labour is also being done
within the report. Also the study on various associated challenges with the child labourer and
issues on health is also being done within the report.

Child labour is the employment of children within companies especially when illegal or
considered exploitative. In other words the employment of individual for full day working which
are below the age group of 18 years is known as child labour. Children are often being employed
within companies because of their lack of knowledge about the pay scale and working hours
(Peters and et.al, 2017). Therefore due to which companies often tend to employee children
because through this approach it ensures that desired work productivity is being accomplished.
While also overall expenditures in terms of providing a proper salary structure is also being
reduced and therefore because of which minors are often being recruited within companies.
There are two prime reasons for child labour which are as following;
1. Forced labour
2. Weak economical growth
3. Lack of awareness about rights
Forced labour is often being seen at various geographic areas at which the children are
being forced to work within enslaver and often have to face violence. Therefore because of
which children have to work within corporate in the early stage of their lives. Also weak
economical growth of the family is also an important factor which often leads to children
working within industries. This often tends to happen when the consultant children are being
unaware of the governmental rights which are being provided to them. Child labourer is often
arises through the activities like human trafficking in which the induced child is being bought or
being sold to do the owner preferred work (Nengroo and Bhat, 2017). With that this also
becomes significant due to the fact that child often willingly participate as being an labour
because through this they are being assured that their financial requirements are being fulfilled.

Disadvantages of child labour-
Full time daily working of regular day hours for the individuals below the age of 18 is
often being considered as an child labour. Since individuals are being forced to do thee heavy
working on an regular bases which is often beyond their physical capabilities. Therefore because
of which a high among of mental and physical challenge has to be faced by the individuals,
which affect their body growth (Eriksen, 2020). Also since the children are not being aware of
the rights, therefore because of which they often have to work longer then compared to the
average worker. Also at the same time are being provided low wages in exchange of their hard
work. Also the children are not aware of the employee legislations and often are not being
provided with basic number of holidays, like medical leaves, parental leaves. With that lack of
education is also an prime concern which often has to be faced by the individuals because of
long working hours. Therefore because of which the individuals are not being provided proper
guidance and due to which could often lead to criminal activities. Also with that the overall
literacy rate of the country is being affected and often leads to the unethical activities which are
being done by the children.
Advantages of child labour
Despite of several limitations there are various benefits of having child labour as well, this
include elements like making efforts to take the financial responsibilities of the belonging once
like friends and family. Therefore individual often tend to make several efforts to increase its
monthly wages and because of which it having a proper understanding about the activities which
have to be done within the professional career as well. Since individuals have to take actions
which best suits them, therefore because of which they can make collaborations to start small
scale business or taking tenders to gain high income (Davies, 2019). Since individuals are
working in the raw environment because of which they are having unstructured form of learning
which is accomplished with the help of experience from certain activities.
Governmental laws upon child labour
There are several governmental laws which are being developed by the government in
order to eliminate the child labour practices. Through this the government tend to assure that it is
being able to establish a proper ethical based working. Through which it tend to assure that basic
employment rights are not being violated within its working area. Therefore in order to avoid the
human right violations, the government has developed basic working age in which individuals

below the age group of 18 years cannot be employed in full time working. However they are
being allowed to do part time working by which they can achieve an efficient economic growth,
to fulfil their requirements.
Impact upon child and society
Child labour is an serious activity which makes a significant impact upon the children’s
development of natural behaviour and tendency to handle challenges. Having child labour within
the society will make negative impact upon the future generation, because in schools. Simulated
training is being provided to the children, so that they can improvise their working as per
requirements, while following the ethical considerations (Chiarini, Opoku and Vagnoni, 2017).
But since unawareness of different alternatives for the task achievement is being faced by the
individual. Therefore because of which they often use the approaches which they have
experienced and are less likely to implement innovation within their working process. Due to
which societal development is also being affected, to identify better and collective good for all
rather than being self centric. With that individuals can also be cheated because of unawareness
in various fields and often become easy victims.

High physical stress is being faced by the individuals as being an child labour which has to
do high amount of physical activities and therefore because of which often have to face
challenges like physical injuries and mental stress. Child labours are often being employees in
the areas where high physical strength is being required and therefore because of which there are
high chances that the individual might get injured. Heavy machineries are often being used in the
industrial areas and due to which children might most likely to be working is an risky area near
boilers, heavy vehicles and many other areas where the impact of injury is saviour.
The children facing child labour are often being affected with mental, social and moral
growth and due to which their level of engagement within the society is also being affected. Also
child labours often have to face challenges like emotional neglect, rejection and humiliations are
often lead to weak mental ability to think and short temper. Due to which the child labour are
often angry and prefer to use violence and an best approach for problems and because of which
difference in level of engagement gap is drastically being increased.

Challenges to stop child labour
Child labour is an saviour challenge which affect the overall growth procedure of the child
and has to be stopped. But there are various challenges which often have to be faced in terms of
eliminating the child labour, thus following are the challenges which are often being faced to
stop the child labour.
Lack of awareness within the society, is the prime factor that why parents often send
their children to work and due to which children below the age group of 18 years are often being
found working. Therefore in order to reduce the implications of child labour parents of the
society have to be educated about the negative impact. This primarily happens because of the
weak financial growth of the family, therefore in order to reduce child labour advantages have to
be given to family to strength their financial performance.
Supply chain, There are several individuals which are responsible for child labour within
the society and this include individuals like the law enforcement agencies which are unable to
catch the employer. Child labour is also being cause due to weak financial performance of the
family and lack of awareness, therefore in order to reduce such weak areas appropriate steps
have to be taken.
Recommendation for child labour
Spreading awareness is one of the commonly used method in which individuals are being
motivated to monitoring their surrounding and then are being influenced to report the active case
of child labour (Broad and Turnbull, 2019). This is an effective approach which is often being
used also due to the fact that child labours are often being employees through the means of
human trafficking. Therefore by spreading child labour can be identified in the early stages and
through which involved children can be provided an opportunity to live an healthy lifestyle.
Discouraging people to employee child labour, is one of the most effective approach and
in order to achieve this strengthening of law enforcement agencies is important. Thus is
significant due to the fact that most of the child labour cases are being seen in the industrial
areas. Therefore by proper monitoring child labour cases can be identified and a lawful
environment can be established.

From the analysis it is being concluded that child labour is an act which is often being done
willingly by children to attain financial growth or is being imposed upon them through violence
and human trafficking. Therefore it is highly important that the child labour cases are to be
identified within the early stage by which the involved child can be provided education and
