Introduction
There are hundreds of millions of children all over the world who are forced to work in the
age when they should be forced for learning (Alamri, Almaiah and Al-Rahmi, 2020). They
are forced either by their families or their deprived situations which are the reason that they
became responsible to earn livelihood for their families. According to the International
Labour Organisation minimum wage convention of 1973 child labour refers to work which
has been performed by children of early age in which they should focus on their learning. The
age decided by International Labour Organisation is any work performed till age 12 non light
work till 12 to 14 and hazardous work in age 15 to 17 is considered in child labour. Child
labour is harmful for both physical as well as mental development of a child and liable to rob
their childhood from them. In this portfolio there are various arguments which supports and
are in against of child labour.

labour it will help them to on livelihood with their full access to the education and
development opportunities. It will provide them development and growth by taking a
proper education which will beneficial for their future and for the economy also (Kokoç
and Altun, 2021).

as well as Physical health of children. Those arguments which are in against of use of child
labour are given below:
Education: The most important part of a life of child which is affected by child labour is

which surprised them from their right to get education and they get trapped in the

diminishes their earnings potential which results in lack of opportunities of receiving
better paying jobs as adults (Menekse, Anwar and Akdemir, 2020).
