What was the drawing about?
Child was drawing pictures of killed animals for the whole of the week and does not tried to
draw new things.

If yes, please explain:
Yes.
The child drawing only killed animals reflected psychological issue which is somehow
impacting her life. It also imitate that she is attached to something deeply and its absence has
affected her which needs to be searched to solve her issue.

Describe the child’s attitude while completing the task:
She was not interacting and showed disobedient behaviour. She was not responded to the
instruction and was drawing picture of her own wish.

She was not following the instruction given which can due to lack of competency to understand
new thing. It reflect that she is slow learner or she does like to do thing of her personal
concern.

When Tracy was tried to communicate about the difficulties she is undergoing, she stated that
she misses her Dog who got died few months ago. She used to draw killed animals in order to
express her grief she is having. She also added that because of such incident, she does not wish
to interact with anyone not even her parents.

The anecdotal information given by Tracy’s parents was related to her beloved dog who died
few months ago. Her parents said after the incident, Tracy loves to be alone and interact less
with other people. She has also become rude sometime when she is forced to do things she
does not like. Their parents has also added that they have to try to make her child happy by
taking to vacation, but no improvement has been noticed.
NOTES
It is seen in the study of Armstrong et al. (2015) where author has explained that child become
influence by external factor easily and if there is loss of some of loveable thing, it directly affect
their psychology. Author has also added that in this situation parents and caregiver need to
communicate with the child and involve her in new activities. Therefore, the Tracy undergoing
mental instability, caregiver and parent need to involve in her activities that make her forget about
the past incident.
