• A child’s delicate life is of big concern; his or her life
as helplessly as it is requires a safe and inclusive
environment without discrimination.
• UNICEF is an organization that works all day round to
protect the rights of every child.
• Children information on various aspects as nutrition,
education, protection, early childhood development,
HID/AIDS, child mortality, child poverty, gender
equality, water and sanitation and child disability is of
concern by UNICEF [1].

Deaths
• The yearly estimates of under-five deaths over ten years
between 1990.5 and 2018.5 over the UNICEF region in the
world population are done by UNICEF [2].
• The results showed that there has been an increase in deaths
of the under-fives over the years.
• World’s UNICEF areas provided the following estimates over
the years;

• The data shows entry into pre-primary school for children in
the UNICEF region.
• The net entry rates indicates the preparedness of the parent
for child education as every child has a right to proper and
inclusive education [1].

Gender Equality
• Gender discrimination is a vice that is being fought by the
UNICEF organization.
• Its aim is to ensure that no gender is being discriminated
among the innocent child.
• Favor of the boy-child is slowly coming to an end though
there are some places where it is being practiced.
• The data shows completion rates per 100 children in all the
regions of UNICEF and the calculated percentage [2].

HIV/AIDS
• The prevalence of HIV positive diagnosis in children under the
age of 19 years around the globe within the UNICEF regions is
a matter of concern.
• Many children have been orphaned to mothers dying with
