Reflection on Learning Skills
In relation to my learning skills on E102, I would like to state that I feel myself a good
learner. Although at starting, it was somewhere typical to understand the topics and
aspects once I have started learning, I found the same easy for me. I feel that I am very
curious in nature and want to know more and more about my topics. While doing the
childhood studies I started realizing that I am able to understand the lessons quickly. If
to talk about academic skills, I feel that I have developed my own knowledge. A better
understanding of a topic is always a need thing while study and I have achieved this
skill up to a level. Time management is another habit that I have come across. I have
mind of children. The same let one know how different children think. Child Psychology

tried and still trying to do better management of my timing in comparison to earlier. I feel
myself an enthusiastic learner, as I am always ready to explore the new areas of
learning. I also started sharing my knowledge with others, as I believe that it will benefit
me at last. If to talk about the strengths, I would like to mention that my good memory
does fall into this category. In conjunction with this, I have also a good ability to learn
new things. However, this is to be stated that in addition to good skills, some negative
points are also there. The area where I feel the requirement for improvement is time
management. Although I am trying for the same but the same is required at a good
level. Further, I feel not so much techno-friendly myself that is also needed to be
improved.
As mentioned earlier that time management is an area where improvement is required,
this aspect is further detailed here. As the name implies, time management is a branch
of management where a person manages his/her time effectively. It is a process of
exercising control on time spent by a person. Time management includes planning as
well execution of division of time between two activities (Mindtools.com, 2018). It is an
important aspect of personal academic skills that I am not able to achieve and
improvement is required. Another aspect is technology. While studying this module,
many of the times, I had to take help of technology but I found myself unable to do the
same. Presentation of reports and use of power points is still a hurdle for me. This is a
negative point in my academic skills. The technical challenge is a situation where a
person does not know how to use technology. Similarly, I feel this challenge. I am good
at web searching but when it comes to the writing of reports and formatting of the same,
I often feel helpless. To conclude this reflection, this is to mention that in my learning of
