Introduction
In recent times, China has become a major force in the world. In last few years China has
shown dominance across various neighbor nations like Bhutan, India, Nepal, etc. China has also
shown some resistance towards its relationship with North Korea etc. It is expected that China
would remain strict and stubborn in its stance towards its neighbor countries. In recent times, the
relationship between China and North Korea has gone bad (Kissane & Lyon, 2014). The history
would suggest that both China and North Korea are stubborn nations. In last few years, China
has been into continuous international news due to its issue in South China Sea, issue with India,
issue with North Korea, etc. The objective of this report is to discuss the international security
measures for China and discuss its current position amidst the knock-off with international
neighbors. The report would also discuss some of the probable solutions for this problem.
Analysis
China is the third largest country in the world and it has 14 neighbor states. The country
shares its 22,000 KM of land border with its neighbor. The neighbor countries of China include
India, Pakistan, North Korea, Russia, Myanmar, etc. It can be said that China has emerged as a
major force and a threat in the region. The government of China has taken various measures to
ensure that its position remains better than other countries in the region. One of the main reasons
for this unique strength of China is its strong positioning. The analysis of history suggests that
China has worked really hard to develop a large army. China has also improved a lot in its army
and military strength. Today, China has one of the largest army in the world. China is also a
nuclear state. It would be correct to say that China takes advantage of her position in the market.

China and North Korea have, in the past, enjoyed close diplomatic relations. However,
China–North Korea relations have declined markedly over the past few years. The rate of decline
of the relationship has further increased in the last few years. The decline in China–North Korea
relations is primarily due to growing concern in China over issues such as North Korea's
impoundment of Chinese fishing boats and more importantly nuclear weapons program. It is
reported that North Korea wants to be an independent nuclear equipped nation. However, China
has its reservation in that and this has affected the relationship between China and India. China's
position on North Korea has been shifting, but that's been happening over the past couple of
years; it's not just over the past six months (Boyer, 2017).
Another international security issue for China is its claim in the Couth China Sea. As per
the historical agreement that water are the part of international partners. However, recently,
China had claimed the portion in the South China Sea. In fact, China also makes that claim in the
international market openly. There are few players in the International market that have denied
the claim. However, it is an open fact that China would hardly leave the control over the sea. It
gives a strategic edge to China in case of any war (Acharya, 2014). The China sea has vast
abundant of resources and with this China wants to claim all the resources. China does not wants
to share any of the resource with any of the other nations.
Another international security of China in the international market is her relationship with
India. It is reported that both the countries recently fought over the land region in the Leh region.
China also had some bad relationship with Japan. The problem with India could have been
avoided; however, Chinese troops marched in the India and and they started to have illegitimate
client of the property. The Indian foreign ministry was not happy with this and resulted in
tension between these two nations. It would be correct to say that some of the tension still

prevails between these two markets. The bad thing is that the diplomatic ties between these two
countries are not good.
Suggested Solutions
It would be correct to say that there are no easy solutions to these problems. One of the
solutions is that China should take help from strong countries like USA. Another suggested
solution for China is to have a system in place where international pressure is more on the
country. The flexible issue from China and North Korea would also help to resolve the issue
(Prowse, 2014). Different nations should also join hands to develop pressure over China. It
would definitely create a pressure over China in long term. However, for this, India should also
have good relationship with North Korea. It is recommended that India should join hands with
Japan, North Korea an other nations to develop and to establish a collective pressure on China.
Conclusion

some of the probable solutions for this problem. The country has problems with its neighbors
like North Korea, India etc. It is expected the relationship would not improve with time. The
