Children’s Health Insurance Program
Children’s health insurance program is made by United States Department which will
help in providing funds to families having children. It is made so that poor families who are not
having enough money to live their life easily and their children are suffering (Hudson and
Moriya, 2018). There are eligibility criteria for Children’s health insurance program i.e.,
applicants who are filling form must live in state, under A.U.S. Citizen, National or a Non-
citizen they should be either 18 years of age or primary care giver of children of 18 years age. In
some countries pregnant women are also eligible under children’s health insurance program.
Impact on healthcare industry
There are many laws and regulations which are made by government or health
department for safety of people and provide them good facilities. Children’s health insurance
program plays an important role in improving health care industry because this program provides
better care and health needs to children. The main aim behind making this insurance program is
to give good facilities to children for safe and healthy future (Saleh and et.al., 2017). By applying
children’s insurance program, it has positive impact on health care industry because it helps in
development of country and better facilities can be provided to people. this will be beneficial as
families who are not having enough money for treatment of their children, they can register
themselves under children health insurance program. This will reduce poverty and future of
country will be safe and best treatment will be given to children so that they can recover soon.
