Dear Mr. X,
This is to inform you that as the H&S Manager of the Choco Blocko Company, I would like
to recommend the post of Factory mail and general delivery for Mr. Ajobby. The chief reason
behind selecting this role instead of selecting the other three roles is that Mr. Ajobby does
possess a driving license. However, since he does not have a forklift truck license he cannot be
recruited for chocolate mixing operative. As a factory mail and general delivery executive, the
chief role of Mr. Ajobby will include delivering mail as well as other parcels to various areas of
the company. Along with this, for the mentioned job role, it is highly crucial for the individual to
possess average fitness. This is because, the general movement of the mail as well as other post
room duties may include movement of heavy packages between 35 kgs over long distance.
Considering the fact that Mr. Ajobby is a physically fit individual, I think, this job can be easily
performed by him. Since the job role also includes driving a long distance food delivery
purposes, the driving license of Mr. Ajobby will be highly beneficial. As a delivery service
driver, he needs to pick up, transport as well as drop off packages. Majority of the time, they
transport merchandise from distribution centre to business. As a delivery driver, Mr. Ajobby
needs to plan their routes along with having a regular, daily as well as weekly schedule. Since he
will be majorly delivering goods and mail from one of our office centre to another, generally he
does not have to travel different routs each day. In case, he will have to travel on an unknown

route, he will receive instruction to go to delivery location at a particular time and he will be
given the liberty to select the route he think will be optimum. As a driver, Mr. Ajobby should
pose a thorough understanding of the street grid of the area and knowledge of which roads allow
truck and which does not. As a delivery driver, he has to perform the following practices:
1. Load as well as unload the cargo]
2. Report any kind if incidents that will be encountered on the road during the time of
delivery
3. Follow all the traffic rules
4. Report serious mechanical issues to the appropriate employee
5. Maintain the cleanliness of the truck along with the associated equipment in order to
ensure good working order
6. May accept the payment for the shipment
7. Handling paperwork in an efficient way. The paper work may include receipts, delivery
confirmation notices as well as information about the destination of the delivery
Some of the controlling measures that need to be taken in order to ensure inability of Mr. Ajobby
to receive and maintain the job role are
1. Make him understand all his job roles
2. Providing him an efficient instruction
3. Understand his salary requirements
