Chocolate is the Food of the Gods
Answer 1
In the context of history of chocolate, it can be said that originally chocolate was made by the
ancient societies of Central America and Mexico. In this context, the creators of chocolate
were Aztec, Incas, and Mayans (Chocolate History, 2019). Besides, in 1519, Cortex
implemented the idea of forming a cocoa bean plantation. He did so because he was
fascinated with Aztec chocolate bitter beverage. In this way, since 1519 Cortez used cocoa
beans as currency which was indeed the beginning of chocolate’s profitable business
(Chocolate History, 2019).
Answer 2
The formation of modern chocolate can be explained by the following key steps of harvesting
Cocoa and then it’s processing:
Stage I: Plucking as well as opening up the pods
Stage II: Fermentation of the cocoa seeds
Stage III: Drying of the seeds of cocoa
Stage IV: Winnowing and roasting of the cocoa
Stage V: Grinding Cocoa Nibs
Thus, post grinding as well as the blending of Cocoa nibs, the final procedure of chocolate
processing as molding occurs.
