Introduction
The main aim of this assignment is to configure out the essential elements of Christian
Foundation of Education. It also supports to analyze the abilities of a good teacher and analyze
the importance of the Christian Foundation of Education in the field of teaching.
Foundation of Christian Education
In accordance with the view of Ohio Department of Education, in the profession of teaching
Master Teacher is one who gives respect to the diversity of the student and have knowledge in
the effective areas of the assessment, content areas, promote the student friendly learning
environment and realize the importance of his or her responsibility towards the student growth
and development (Glanzer, 2017). In this field, Christ possesses all the required qualities which
is exhibited in Master Teacher and it is important that the Christian Teacher also possess and
exhibit such qualities. On the basis of this foundation, I put my views in relation to the impact of
teaching and learning process in the early childhood stage.
It is important that the Christian Education must posses four tenets that are required under the
process of Christian Education which includes learner, the curriculum, the teacher and the
process of teaching (Reader, 2017).
Any leaner, maybe a child under the Christian Education gain knowledge, either at home or in
the formal classroom or from any adult member. Sociologist explains that the family was the
first educator that provide learning to the child at initial stages. God gave this unique power to
the parents to educate their children to go in the right direction in relation to the teachings of
God.
At an early stage of childhood, I used to sit in my home, when I walk alone on the road, the
range of parents becomes wider as it includes the other person of society who are also
responsible for educating and teaching process. In the formal classroom, teachers are also
accountable for our teaching and learning in the childhood stage. My Christian teachers do not
only focus towards the contents and its curriculum, but also teaches us the principles of Bible for
realizing the importance of God and its wonderful plans.

In an early environment of childhood, the importance is given to the God for creating respect for
God, his authority and his word. As a student, the Christians foundation of education builds a
foundation among the student with discipline, a proper work and morality. According to my
view, the teaching should be considered on the basis of ideas based on the biblical principles
which develops the light among the world (Garland, 2019). The foundation of the Christian
philosophy is based upon the facts that God is the truth and the God is the one who guides and
assist each and every person to understand the concept of God. It is imperative that the God must
be the foundation of Christian Education which assist to coordinate among the different stages of
life and supports in examining the methods for developing discipline among the people.
In the textbooks of public school, now the curriculum is more focused towards remove of the
concept of God and destroys the meaning, justice, direction and hope in life. The attempts made
by the secular school is to remove the concept of God and for the upcoming generation, remove
the basis of Bible knowledge and disciplines. Christian foundation is truly based upon the word
of God, but in todays teaching the word God is missing. In todays time, teachings, becoming
more man made system which has lack of Christianity context, lack of power and life-orientation
(Bosch, 2018). In recent times, the teaching simply ignores the teaching of Gods and Bible truth.
Secular attributes overlap the unique creation of God. The main purpose of the Christian
Foundation of Education is to provide education with such methods that supports in normalizing
the relationship between the God, surroundings and Christians.
An Educator in Christian Foundation of Education assists the students in gaining knowledge in
the whole learning process of the children (Hooper, 2018). It is important that the educator not
manipulate the students. In this context, the concept of the whole learning and teaching of
Christian Foundation is to educate the students on the grounds of the Bible because the educator
is one who is a true believer and a teacher and who never compromise with the teachings of the
Bible philosophies.
Further, a Learner also plays an important role in Christina Foundation of Education because the
learners are the main challenges that affects the overall education of Christians. It is vital that the
learners are required to be motivated so as to correctly apply the teachings in their different
phases of life. Learners personal experience and knowledge provides them great experience for

the application of the teachings in relation to the Truth of God. Most important thing is to
acknowledge about the things happening among the students (O'Brien, 2015). Education is the
one which student learns to perform anything and the forces of outward nature forces them to do.
Christina Foundation of Education includes subjects like history, general knowledge of the Bible
and biblical texts and science. As per the recent studies, it shows that the modern system of
education has lack of moral disciplines, academic weakness and hostile atmosphere in relation to
the spirituality. This cause many parents take initiatives to shift their students from private
school to the school who provide Christian Education. It is important that the big schools focus
towards providing Christian education in reference to the original Biblical principles and context
so as to make the children more attached to the concept of truth of God.
An excellent education of Christians is important for the completion of all education in relation
to its subjects, and in this wisdom is of great importance in this. Searching out the God is one of
the challenges facing by the Christians. In many Christian schools western tradition is adopted
prevailed in other countries (Onyango, et. al., 2016). This not only affects the education of the
children, but also affects the concept of God and its real meaning and importance in the
education. For achieving the desired results, it is crucial that the teachers go back and
understand the importance of Christian education in the Christians life.
Education of Christians Foundation positively impact over the children early stage of childhood
where the main focus is towards the building of key elements among the students in relation to
the Christian Philosophy to integrate the students in knowing the truths of God and bring out the
intellectual virtues that allows the students to clarify the visibility in the context of the Bible and
its content.
Theories on the basis of which religious education is designed
It is important to shift towards the theories that brings new arrangement and designed to
upbringing the religious education. The schools were formed in such a way where the youth or
children have the chance to know about their cultural task as well as the biblical norms. It is
important that the teachers must be prepared the children’s for future point of view by achieving
the insight child growth and development.

Religious education must be designed and framed in such a manner so that the upbringing of the
students would be more disciplined and consider the importance and thoughts of Jesus. Teachers
must educate the students in such a way that it transformed the lives of students in positive
impact over the life of the young students (Battiste, 2019). It is crucial that the teachers not
provide any type of mixed signals to the students, which ultimately results in confusions among
them. Christian education is the process where there is combining efforts of both teachers as well
as of students so as to grow spiritually and mature.
Religious education must be designed in such a way which reveal the thoughts of God, his
creation. It is significant that today’s teachers needs to be follow the patterned like Master
teacher characteristics like Jesus. For this, it is vital to focus over collaboration and consistent
leadership.
Child Development Theory
Teachers are the one who develops an interest of the children’s by assuring that each and every
child get the knowledge which is essential for their growth and development (Murray & Clark,

According to Neaum (2019), Child development theory focuses over the learning of children
through discovery. It focus over the skills like physical skills which assist in developing the
biological skills among the children. According to Trawick-Smith & Smith, (2014). Social skills
which supports in interacting the child with others. After that, emotional skills which develop the
emotional connections between the children. After that, language skills which help the child to
communicate his or her feelings or emotions with other people. The last is the cognitive skills
which include the skills like creativity, imagination and problems solving.
The Montessori Theory
In the life cycle of the children, there are various developmental phases from birth of the adult to
the mature phase. During this phase, Children keep on learning and set its own goals and aims
while to develop socially. In each and every phase, children develop skills. According to Dr.
Montessari, she designed the classrooms in such a way in which task is assigned to the children

the three main points in mind that is the child, the environment and the teacher. In this teacher
provide guidance to each and every child for building their skills and develops their interest in
the subjects like history, science, religious norms so as to bring more focus of the students

Kolb's experiential learning theory
According to Makan & Rajan (2016), Kolb’s experimental learning theory assist in designing the
education in such a way to provide a new experience for the students by creating the experience
among the children by developing the skills of exploring and observing new things in the society.
For learning new information, this theory helps the child to observe new situations happening
around them. Teachers can adopt this theory by concrete the experiences to the experimentation
stage of religious concepts and norms of Christianity.
Conclusion
At the end of this assignment, it brings to the conclusion that education is the part of every
student life which is beginning to learn at different stages of his or her life. It is important that
the teachers work towards the emotional and mental growth of the student. It is vital that both
teachers and students work in harmony in the interest of the community. Community play an
